i would basically have to do all of the setting up myself if i wanted to run some persona 4 sets at xanadu? i don't mind. i told eli i would go with him to the monthly this saturday or friday.
i've never been to a big offline event, i didn't even know this existed until he told me about it. I just want to get some offline p4a matches going with the good folks here in the dmv so i can get myself prepared for civil war. Just like you guys are doing for GG
lol may the best brosuke win.
i'd say just try to do something that catches the other yosuke off. if you see he's not moonsault-mixing you up, then you should do it. TRY TO BAIT THE DP!
end every blockstring with 5b (you should already be doing that anyway) i sometimes backdash after a 5b to bait that dp for a free fatal, try it out.
if you end a blockstring with 2b, you could cancel into a TK EX Moonsault. something to throw the opposing yosuke off, it works for me!
the sweep, kunai's, j.5D & 5D jiraiya are you best tools for fighting liz. This is one of the matchups where you can't be as "reckless" because liz 5b has so much range & her 2b is pretty good.
superjumping & baiting her beams with kunai's can get some free damage & a card break!
make sure to prioritize safety against liz and use your burst wisely!
i found yosuke's glide easier to pull of on pad/controller, but that's just my personal preference. to the people that use brosuke on pad i would advise you to just press the A & C buttons instead of pressing the actual air turn bumper on top.
your thumb should already be on B for the j.1B (or j.3b, you can use either one) then all you have to do is quickly slide your thumb over those two buttons for the rest.
practice makes perfect! it takes some getting used to, but in the end it's all worth it =D
Maybe i should make a vid for the pad brosukes..hmm
