Hey guys, Please give me some good dustloop combos that you've seen in Xrd that I can practice in +R. Preferably relative easy stuff. Oh, and combos from 2H would be appreciated as well, again easy and and applicable to Xrd. Btw, the reason I ask for easy is that I am probably going to Anime Expo mainly to check out the game and it's soon and not much time to practice. I'm still a beginner but I don't wanna look like a TOTAL beginner haha. Again, I'd really appreciate it.

OK, thanks guys, I'll be a little more patient with tightening the execution. Orrax, I'm sure you're right, when I practice later, I'll pay attention to tapping up-fwd as opposed to holding.

I've started practicing WT into sidewinder loops but problem is I get VV a lot instead of SW, especially on the left side. I've tried different ways of inputting but nothing has helped too much. Tips please!

Got it. I feel ya buddy

urgh, couldn't resist...lately, i've only been playin while drunk or super tired. Ah heck, I may take the day off from the gym today to get some proper training for GG. Just to pointlessly ramble further, I still gotta go help my [junior high teacher]+[good friend] run his after school self defense club. Anyway, imma try to emphasize Wild Throw when I play today.

Haha, good stuff. Book of Five Rings (by Musahi Miyamoto) is too archaic imo. Some good stuff buried in a lot of useless junk I think. Just watch The Samurai Trilogy. Or better yet, Yojimbo/Sanjuro. Especially Sanjuro.

TheRealBobMan, the request has been sent, whenever you're ready. I know I gotta do a lot to get ready (some Training as opposed to jumping straight on Network . Gotta unscrub my Sol, then scrub it again lol. Much respect. If I have time, maybe I'll find those books.

Thank you. I recommend the MacArthur New King James Study Bible. A gifted pastor and good friend gave it to me a long time ago... (Only use the notes if you have to.)

"In other words, you have sharpened my samurai spirit." Guys, all I basically do is work part time and train (muay thai, boxing, jiujitsu, MMA, fighting games). The only difference fighting games has from the rest is that it doesn't hurt physically. (Well, actually...) I forgot in all my shittalk that fighting games deserve honor and respect as well. My advice for all of you is to read martial arts books! Not so much the technique ones (you guys already know what to do here in respect to fighting games), but the philosophy or autobiographical ones (ex. Karate-Do: My Way of Life: Gichin Funakoshi). Then move on to the likes of Socrates and Nietzche, and then perhaps the Bible (not trying to force this here, just saying what works for me). I spoke too much (as usual).

...for making the mic not work for Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus (your greatest work). It has forced me to stfu and focus on the game. In other words, you have sharpened my samurai spirit. I will prolly still use it every now and then for other fighters but I will try to refrain. Chrono Phantasma, urgh...don't know if I can resist lol. Still gotta say though, GG PSN community, man up a bit.

OK, i'll take your guys' word for it And yes, I've just been playin ranked. But I really wanna know, does the mic work in this game? EDIT: and just to throw it out there, I've played about 100 matches and my % has slowly climbed to a lil over 25%. I feel I lose to both skilled and non-skilled players but I'm proud to say that I've broken some players' unfounded pride keep ragequittin haters, means I'm doing OK at this lol. 2nd EDIT: I don't mind playin scrubs at this point, it's too much fun still!!! 3rd Strike: Just wish they'd all keep their fighting spirit no matter what.
-
...man, you guys are the worst community out of the 3 I've been a part of (other 2, 3s and VF). Sure SF guys talk a lot of shit but imo that makes it more fun. VF, classy as heck. You guys, most disconnects and ducking fights I've seen. It's just a game, geez! Just cuz I mindfuck you once is no reason to give up! As Alex says in 3s, "a weak spirit will always lead to defeat!" EDIT: such a shame, since this is now my favorite game. 2nd EDIT: Can you guys hear me on the mic???

Thanks a lot Orrax or Luke. I think you've given me plenty to work with. Hopefully I see you online.

Hi guys, I've recently felt (a little bit) the joy that is this game. I'm over 30 now and I've been playing fighters since WW. I have some BlazBlue experience (mained Ragna). Other games I play now are 3s and VF5:FS. I've competed in both recently at Super Arcade but I never won a set. But I always gave GGs, that's for sure. I need something like BlazBlue in the mix and GG it is (the trifecta is complete). I think both this game and Sol Badguy are cooler and BlazBlue and Ragna. Compared to BlazBlue: more of a oki game (I think?), slashbacks, a more simple yet still just as deep system, and plus, I'm more of late 90's-early 00's anime guy. I play exclusively PS3 even though I have both because I'm cheap like that I need advice. I need to hit harder. What are some of the easiest yet decent damage combos with Sol? I know there are combo lists but I want what you guys think are (braindead) easy yet damaging. (So none of that Clean Hit stuff yet.) I think stuff off of K, S, throw (both command and normal) would be great. General tips on offense would be much appreciated. General tips on defense would be even more appreciated. Help me level up, please!
