  1. I'll be honest, my preferred game would be GG but even looking from an objective standpoint I'm having trouble seeing where you're coming from when you say more refined. The lack of a mechanic similar to faultless or even slashback makes me feel super limited when on the defensive, and I don't think the rolling or dodging mechanic is some form of a suitable replacement as a defensive option, this coming from a guy that's been playing KoF and JoJo's for quite a while. Maybe I'm missing something, care to explain why you think that? Not to start an argument of which game is better blah blah, everybody is entitled to their own opinion, I'm just interested in what others opinions are seeing as I'm on the other side of the fence if you get me.
  2. I managed to secure a copy of P4A for £15 today so I'm going to give the game another go and see if my opinions change when I have the opportunity to play it frequently. Skype is telethrow and I'll be up for matches on PSN probably tomorrow, gonna just mess around with it today.
  3. Not sure if the Giant Attack stuff will be streamed but there's a high chance of stuff being recorded. There will be a tournament on Monday(might get pushed back to Thursday) the 20th(...) in the Glasgow scene here: http://www.twitch.tv/versusscotland Problem with P4A in Scotland is all the actual arc guys in Glasgow(all 4-5 of them), whether they are prodominately GG/BB players don't like the game enough, and won't be playing it(me included), but some of the other guys are going to try it out for a bit so having some people on stream telling people how not to be bad at the game could be useful.
  4. But she has the coolest looking combos! Anyway I've been neglecting BB a little bit, if anybody is up for games I'd be more than happy. If anyone has KoF on PS3 I'd be up for trying to see if the netcode won't be terrible but that's pretty rare. Will be on a little later around evening time.
  5. The best player in the UK plays on a 360 pad if that's what you're getting at. It's a great game and getting to play Fox at HS2 definitely reignited my spark for it, and has once again dragged me away from playing 2k2.
  6. Yeah I missed you tonight, sorry about that. KoF practice taking over. Wish it had good netcode...
  7. People play BB in Scotland, look outside your front door/hometown, I'm sure you've been told this before. There aren't many but there's about as many as there is KoF players(as in, actual players and not just playing on the side). There's at least 4-5 strong GG players spread across Scotland. They unsurprisingly don't attend locals though, for various reasons, however they do run house sessions in Glasgow from time to time. All the actual good/strong/decent arc-players don't like Persona or gave up on it a long time ago when Glasgow had a setup coming in pretty much every session for like...a month? People stopped playing really fast, the people at the Persona setup from there will give up on it again, really fast and the good players won't even play. But as far as that goes, is anybody up for some games tonight?
  8. Hypespotting 2 result: bodied by Fox in KoF pools(played casuals took one game of like 20, ggs2free), second place in 3S teams with a team of 3 Ryu's with different SA's, carrying my team with SA2 annnnnnnnnd group of death for Marvel(robbed). But I'm off for two weeks now and other than playing XIII and regularly beating most people that got top 8(damn you Fox...) I'll be trying to learn Blazblue a bit more so who's up for beating me up tomorrow?
  9. Kevin: The Game. No but really, Garou is pretty cool.
  10. Because Rage of the Dragons is better.
  11. Too hype for reset. But yeah, trying to break the rust, been busy with KoF, will play regularly starting like April. Need to stop bursting like I'm playing GG.
  12. GG's to Kiba tonight, had fun. Also, hi guys.
