  3. It is true that beside the stunt dipper, all the tricks can be used in Xrd. What I'm trying to say here is, when using these trick, the slow+dark screen might be a give away to your opponent. The sudden change of pace can raise the awareness of the defender whereas with FRC it comes quick and leaves little time to react.
  4. This. I want to talk about the bullet-time of the new RC system but I'm lacking example. Thanks for pointing this out. What concerned me the most is that the bullet-time will effect throwing playstyle heavily. These example might not pratical, but ... Sol Riot stamp [FRC] into command throw Sol bandit bringer [FRC] into command throw Ky Stunt dipper [FRC] into throw I-no Stroke the Big Tree [FRC] into throw Potemkin 6HS [FRC] into command throw (this is prob the most impractical one) Jam Senri Shinshou [FRC] into throw Jam 2D [FRC] into throw One other thing that with FRC, ppl only have to prepare for a certain situation of trickyness, which brings me to this example. If you remember the Slash SBO semi-final where Domi(An) vs Tau(Ky). At the end of round 1, domi use 6HS against Tau. With the mindset of FRC, Tau thinks that he need to be prepare against the FRC at the end of Anji 6HS. But Domi was one step ahead and use RC to cancel the move early. Tau was caught off guard and got thrown by Anji Now if that RC darken the screen and freeze time, I think Tau could totally react to that.
  5. There will be a GGXrd tournament on 3/7. Additionally there will be a convention for Tekken on 3/21. Correct me if I'm wrong
  6. GGX also has indicator showing 25% tension (blue-green-red) and that version has no 25% tension command IIRC. So we can't be sure if Xrd will have FRCs or FB. About FRC, as long as I can cancel a whiff or projectile, I don't really care how much it would cost me. Players will use tension more wisely (no more Johnny double FRC divine blade though). But the fact that you can cancel any given time now might be a disadvantage for the defender. Ky FRC 236K is just too predictable that some ppl go for the RC after the 2nd hit. But then again, it cost 50% tension, pretty expensive eh?
  7. ABA players will strongly agree with this I think it will be like order-Sol IK, just a black gear form
  8. Remember In #R May 4->6H dolphin FRC has 2 outcomes depends on when you FRC. First is May will touch the ground immediately, second is May floats in the air for a brief moment, with this you can Air Dash if you Jump Install, and that just 2-3 frames. Now if we broaden the FRC frames then ? Other fake FRCs like Jam 2D or Potemkin 6H, if FRC frames were longer, then it will be both fake and hit FRC ? BB doesn't have FRC but it has Rapid even when doing haduken move. Now if we have RC Ice spike and RC stun edge ?
  9. Potemkin hammer fall FRC in +R: Sometimes when you launch your opponent too high, ex: 236S[FRC]-> 6P-> Hammer Fall Testament 6H: Sometimes when your opponent is too close to the ground, you can't 6H[FRC]-> Grave digger (this is a #R ex) PS: Slayer 2D ex is not quite what he asked because it has no FRC option
  10. Rush down is not a term that apply to a character, it is infact a playstyle of the player them self. So saying a character is a rushdown type is not right. Saying that character has strong factors to maximize the rushdown playstyle of a person is more accurate. The term rushdown is used when the attacker continuously attack the defender. And this term has been used in other types of game not only in fighting game. The reason people confuse these terms is because one term has elements of others. When you are pressuring, you are using: mix-up, block-string, frametrap... But you can't say pressure is mix-up. It just has the factor that the term mix-up define. I think frame trap is just a more specific definition of the term bait. In a siuation where the attacker is pressuring the defender, the attacker purposely make a hole in his block-string, baiting the defender to counter them, then use a more frame advantage move to neutralize that counter. It just specificly say that the attacker use the "frame advantage move". When Slayer make a hole in his block string, then use dandy step and follow up with pile bunker to counter the defender. You can't say he was using frame trap. It is more apropriate to use the term bait here.
