What’s up guys wondering if I could get a critique/tip for my 2 losses from a local weekly tourney the first I lose to a fried 3-2 and the second link l lose 3-1. Guys we have been holding $1 weekly Guilty Gear Xrd tourneys every Tuesday from at A&C Games 452 Spadina Ave in downtown Toronto for the last 2 months. There are also casuals for BB, P4AUltimax and virtual fighter on Tuesday. GGXrd and P4A Ultimax (if ppl show up) are also apart of the norther battles monthly tourneys run by Toronto top tiers @ A&C games. Honestly I would have came but the subway closure was too much of a cock-block and would have made my trip home a headache sicne i would be bussing back to Mississauga.

If you want to mix it up besides ABC blockstrings I like 6HS block strings 2K 5K > 6HS 2K 5K > 6HS (1 hit) > Hair car 2K 5K > 6HS (1 hit) > air dash jK ect

Having a designated drop in loby area is a very good idea. We ran this in my area for Xrd a east canada (toronto, Ottawa, Montreal) loby tho it only lasted like 2 months lol.

Honestly just remember when you tiger knee you dont have end on 9 its any up direction (7, 8 or 9). For what ever reason in xrd specifically i find it easter to do 2368 to tiger knee.

Generally i use 6HS jump cancel j.KSD > airdash ect 5K jump cancel j.KSD > airdash ect 2HS jump cancel j.SD > airdash ect

Hmm the bad moon nerf maybe they are trying to kill 5K > TK badmoon/raw TK badmoon into oki.

Blitz sheild air bride express, to can also try and 2HS or chicken block and pinish both are kind of gambles. Also if you are fast you can backdash and punish. Dont get cornered and dont get hit by wake up super!

As far as dealing with meatying people on wake up with no disc these are some options I use to not get wake up thrown. I usually run into their body to make them flinch. Lows: Haircar (RC if you have meter) Take a step back 2S > 5HS (RC if you have meter) High: Bad moon > set up HS disc Dust – Works really well if they are backed in the corner 6HS - it timed well only the 2nd hit can hit I believe. Even if im wrong its really active and will stuff them for mashing.

Ya like it was said Facebook is used more than dustloop for the people who play at A&C games. Wednesday and Fridays are the main days, personally I show up on a wendsday around 3 times a month I don't show up on Friday cus A&C closes 9pm and i come after work so its not always worth my while but wends they close at 10pm. If you have a physical copy of Xrd plz bring it with you cus A&C doesn't have a copy yet and depends on players bringing their own copy. Also Toronto top tiers the group that runs toronto major tournemts runs monthly tournemets at A&C they book a weekend. Saturday for capcom games and sunday for non-capcom games including anime Persona 4 Ultimax, Blazblue, Guilty gear.

Sup guys I was wondering when doing the IAD bnb combo in the corner ive seen people do IAD j.S > H IAD j.PP > j.H IAD j.P > j.H IAD j.KS > j.H Is there any different in how much knockdown time they give to set up the disc oki or are they all mostly the same?

Yooo MTL there is a bunch of us from GTA going to NEC, the plan to rent a car fell through so we busing and going to be there Friday morning rather than Friday night some in main hotel me n some others in the Wydham Hotel across the street.
