These hours are in a specific mode (versus, mission etc) or i can go in training mode and just leave the console on?

Thanks a lot for your answer. Can you provided me with a link with the specific hours needed for every character because i searched and couldnt find anything.

Can you unlock them like in X2 Reload by playing a set amount of hours or survival and story mode are my only bets? Thanks in advance.
