  1. Let us not forget that 5C > MTW is totally legit. That seems like a good way to keep them in the corner after hammer. Also, potential [3C > 236A > 236A]xN corner loop?
  2. When first learning a combo in training mode, don't be afraid to set the computer to not tech at all to start with. It means you get to practice all of the button inputs of a combo after all, seeing a bluebeat is all you need to see to know that it wasn't legit, you don't actually need the dummy to tech. After you get the hang of the input order, you can learn to tighten it all up so that it redbeats properly.
  3. If you don't want to go for a second collider (because of the repeat rate). You can use 41236D, 6C > j.2C, 22D or 41236D, 6C > j.2C, 5B > 4D

  5. I think he meant that the same combos we can do now would just be doing lots more damage. It looks like the way things are going, we need to start researching one-collider combos but with lots of other hits instead. Currently most Tager combos are just "quickest path to AC in current situation, second collider if possible, MTW". Whereas now we might get some milage out of some of the more odd links, like "Asledge, 2A (Crouching or fatal only)".
  6. Still, free damage is free damage. It felt a bit silly that our combo ender super did 700 damage (and killed off the combo proration for anything after) and everyone else's was landing for 1000+ minimum, with Mu's and noel's taking the cake at 1200 minimum.
  7. No-one else commented that terra break does 1000 minimum damage now. That just shunted up our minimum damage a fair bit. I wonder if it's because their raised the minimum damage on it or just raised the damage completely? If it's the latter then terra break hits for 5000 damage base.
  8. Can't you just do Asledge after 3c to make it punishable? Also. 2C > 3C > SB for three primers.

  10. asledge air hit into 2B > 2C is currently legit. If they're low to the ground. If they buff the unteachable on A sledge then [3C > 236A] x Nn would be both possible and hilarious.

  15. Also helps to play against your own character as someone else. You won't understand the psychology of defending against your character unless you've experienced it yourself. And once you do understand it, commence to mindfuckery.

  22. 5C 6A is perfectly legit on standing opponents.
  23. Look at 5C 6A. 5c has 19 frames of hitstun, 6A has 19 frames of startup. 5C has 4 active frames. but you can combo the two together. Ergo, you can cancel on the first active frame if it strikes.
  24. That's completely not true. you cancel the moment it hits. Also, if you do hold it, and they try to jump, it catches them. lol.
  25. it also has 4 active frames, and hits on the first. It only enters recovery after all of the would-be active frames are finished.
