  1. Well, the use of AC, 6C > 5D > 22D whiff to shorten recovery is still legit. and on block, 5D > 22D would turn +2 advantage into +5, and drag them in a bit closer.
  2. It's still shortening the recovery on a few moves as well. like 6C. If it drags in, you can 360A trap them a little more easily.
  3. I see what you mean now. But it's all very well saying how you'd prefer to hit them, but you have to deal with whatever hits you actually get.
  4. Most moves are level 4 yes, but if you look at the frame data, most of tager's moves have custom blockstun durations. Some quite long.
  5. If you could use gadget whenever you'd like you'd use it as a mist cancel for any special cancellable move since gadget finger's minimum duration is really short and not very telegraphed at all.
  6. What are you talking about?
  7. If you get a late 2D CH you can do 6A > 2C > AC.... but if you need to put the 5C in, they'll always be too far away.
  8. The 2C is never close enough, no matter how deep the 2D hits iirc.
  9. Did you miss the memo? 6B doesn't break primers anymore.
  10. So I heard there's this move called 720, Apparently Axis shunned it in favour of "RAPIDOU!".
  11. You don't need to worry about p1 on a guard break. It has a forced p1 of 90% iirc. Go for 6B > 2C.
  12. Short answer: Yes Long Answer: If you do a 8 frame step forward first, with most of the characters, not jin, don't need to do it with Rachel or Tager (use 5C >6A).
  13. Still makes me cry when I see people try and fail to get the 2B 623C to work after a 360B when they have a sparkbolt available and the combo would win them the round. I am sometimes that person too.
  14. Because it's not as troll as getting a fullscreen 720 Drag. Getting a 360B in for free is better than any air combo starter you have.
  15. Tager's Hitbox viewer for 360A and 360B both link to the same image, their hitboxes in reality are actually different.
  16. Give 2D guard primer breaking, problem solved?
  17. Hazama doesn't get negative penalty for actually attacking with his drive, so it'd only sting him if he was just sky surfing with it.
  18. Nah, as a rule you don't change entire core mechanics for particular players like that. I'm more of the opinion that negative penalty should disable your drive button, would basically stop all of those runners in an instant.
  19. guy that I mentioned at least had a good reason.
  20. That's the badger, right down to the colours. Think the guy had a muscle disorder of some kind and couldn't manipulate a stick properly and so went for that instead.
  21. All of Bang's drives are unsafe and only 2D is jump cancellable on block. The other two cancel into specials but double palm thrust is also -7 which is punishable in thoery (Don't try to reversal it, 5D > 623B is watertight unless you can do an akira IB 720 in a two frame gap, the other two ground drive are more perfect blockstrings). A smart bang won't leave himself in 360B range when he ends his string on a double palm thrust, but you can still 5A and 720 him. 2D isn't special cancellable or indeed cancellable into anything other than a jump. Play the yomi collider/2C game here
  22. Tager's always in flight mode, it's why he never has any signal. (Sorry sorry, but I had to)
  23. RC? I dunno. j.C > Sledge was mentioned, and I see no reason why you'd use that. Unless it's Bsledge and j.C has monster hitstun now. Even then I don't see why you'd use it.
  24. I saw some guy at the tournament last week who didn't have a stick, rather 4 buttons laid out in an ergonomic, but not obvious, pattern instead.
  25. It's only a 1 frame window. Advance input that Tech. Heck in CS2+, it seems that combo will actually be legit. He did it every spark bolt because he didn't respect a human opponent's pattern spotting ability, which is really quite good. Also, Offline, purple grabs aren't legit at all.
