Why Aksys? Don't they only publish the series now, instead of actually localizing? I sincerely doubt it has anything to do with them.

Yes, I've met some very good players who are completely against them. Green throws are fine though. It's a strange thing but I suppose some people see it as easy/lazy damage.

Very competent players complaining that Pink/Purple grabs are cheap/etc. I could understand if I was playing someone new to the game but it does get a bit irksome hearing players complain about even a single one. It's a mix-up. Another one is people complaining about being constantly command grabbed by Tager when they were clearly doing something unsafe or mashing on wake-up. I'm also referring to players who should know what they're doing here. As for Fenrir's comment: That's a bit hard to accomplish; It's clearly stated that he was blocked. I've actually played that guy before, didn't get any mail though, and I'm also fairly certain that I've seen him on Dustloop before.

Implying that Tager has combos.

Ggs to Ratix08. Those combos and resets really surprised me. Also saw that Vita tournament today. That was... severely underwhelming. As far as I could see not a single decent player was invited/knew about it. Didn't help that many of its participants also had noticeably laggy connections, though maybe that was just from the recorded stream.

GGs to Benignpacifist. Really great combos and pressure. Some of the stages seemed to cause some noticeable slowdown whenever Mu's steins were out. Would probably be best if you didn't choose random.

GGs to everyone I played against earlier. Not a single completed Bang combo that whole time though... Maybe BB is being affected by the PSN thing.

GGs to Ratix08 and everyone else in the lobby. My poor Izayoi was derping so hard tonight but I feel that my Bang is improving at a nice pace. Zeron: He does come off as a bit arrogant sometimes, but he is a very interesting Tager player. I've only fought him once in CP though. I can't say that I understand all of his random ramblings though. He types some strange stuff at times.

My game froze on me for some reason when I tried closing the lobby. Wouldn't let me disband to see if maybe remaking the room helped, so I guess that's why everyone kept disconnecting from my lobby. It was really strange since I could still accept matches. So, sorry Arakune player with the long name, maybe some other time.

That probably has more to do with your own wireless connection rather than the netcode itself. If memory serves right, I believe you had these problems in Extend too. I've had pretty much lag free matches against a decent amount players, to the point where instant blocking was very viable. Yes, there are quite a few players with less than stellar connection strength but that generally has more to do with distance (CurseSword666). Can't help the framerate drops, unfortunately, but as long as certain stages are avoided it'll be a minor to near nonexistent problem. It would be nice if we had the option to turn off background animations for stages, that would likely help resolve some of the issues.

I have no problems with Astrals, though I haven't been astraled yet. I don't really dislike playing anyone. I even said that I had fun regardless of the input things. You're free to join again, I don't mind. Eh, that last line really means nothing. I can instant block most of Azrael's/Tager's normals/mixups. It doesn't mean much unless we had a lag free environment. Oh, and yes, I'm not sure how you can't feel the framerate dropping. It's pretty noticeable with some stages. Strangely enough the training stage has this problem too. Well, I'm not going to say anymore or else this thread could turn into crap pretty soon, especially since we'd be here a long time arguing lag/netplay. I think you misconstrued the point of my meaning/message though. Edit: Wow, looks like it already did. Meh. Well, I thought I was being as polite as I could be while saying that. Didn't mean to come off as a jerk.

Ggs to everyone I played. Not to come off as a jerk, irHokage, but you come off as very netplay happy/trollish when playing. It doesn't help that you keep choosing a stage that even has framerate problems offline. I generally try to go with it and respect everyone's playstyle but when my inputs/combos aren't even going through I feel I should say so. Didn't have any problems with anyone else so I assume that it was you, not that I would have won anyway (I haven't played Tager seriously since Extend so I fully expected to lose), but it is a bit of a nuisance. Just letting you know so that maybe you're more aware of your poor connection/playing habits, unless they're intentional? I haven't had too much of a problem with it so far but I can see it being a poor experience for others. Well, gg anyway, I always enjoy Tager mirror matches regardless of the outcome. Oh, and gg to the grabby Tager. That was random and entertaining.

Maybe my lobbies attract Azraels players then? Not sure, but I think he's the character I've played against the most online. Luckily, most of them aren't very noteworthy, though a good portion are competent enough that they give my Izayoi trouble at times. At least it's helped improve my blocking/instant blocking.

Dear god though, the amount of Azrael players I encounter online is crazy, thankfully I have Hakumen and Tager to better deal with derpy netplay Azraels. Strangely enough I'm encountering less Terumi players now too. Maybe they jumped ship.

Huh, haven't seen this anywhere but apparently: From Neogaf Izayoi Can't do 623b > teleport > 623b anymore. (GA) 5b > 236c > 6d > 5b doesn't combo either.

Huh, I feel as if we have pretty dfferent playstyles but alright. Different combos, patterns, mix-up, and even the way we approach, or at least I think so. Oh, I also grab/sonic saber less and generally rely more on 5B or other normals in normal mode. Though I respect his playstyle, so whatever works for him but it's something I like to avoid. I generally stay on my opponent more in both modes, but you were happy to stay away with Tager so I decided to just go with it since I'm still learning how to cancel her specials for better mix-ups and it felt pretty unsafe to approach you.

Eh, I have to play like that especially against Tagers. Was trying to punish those backdashes but I guess I have to work on my timing. Ggs.
