  1. I play GG and live in Fairfax :D Truth be told, all of the dedicated GG players in the area have either retired or moved away, but I'm usually ready to throw down. Locations for GG in NOVA: CyberGround - I'm the only GG player there though. Bobby's World - An arcade (of sorts) in Arlington which has one of the only GGAC arcade cabinets on the East Coast. A few people will get on the sticks. For more info check SRK. If you're looking for BB comp, it's pretty well dead, as none of the GG players like it, and those who do like it are mostly online warriors. I'm not a fan myself, but I play occasionally. Btw, if you have Metro access, that will give you access to a couple more players who live in the DMV area, including Sesshyru, 4r5, and Ketchy Ketch (who needs to start posting here )
  2. ^Fluttershy Kanu likes this.
  3. GUILTY GEAR FOREVER
  4. http://princebrianmay19.deviantart.com/art/Light-and-Dark-210616810 ORIGINAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL
  5. I know the PS3 registers the shoulders as buttons as opposed to analog triggers. Dunno if that helps.
  6. WHAT DID YOU GUYS DO
  7. High Roller GG? We're Poverty in MD.
  8. You should shop it to widescreen, that way we can use it on new monitors :D
  9. Netplay is that a way.
  10. Everyone needs to be reading this comic already: http://surrealistobituaries.com/content/?m=20110117
  11. Guilty Gear itself was just a really big troll.
  12. Unfortunately it's still in the shop
  13. It takes a God Tier troll to actually go out of your way to make one of the best fighters ever made, suddenly turn it into an RTS, and tell everyone to play it. I like it.
  14. Of course I was exaggerating. All trolling aside, there are things I appreciate them changing for AC, and projectiles not building guard bar is one of them. I still feel that the reward for damage in AC is sometimes too large for the amount of effort one has to put in to get it. I guess, if there's something I actually want to see from the next game, it's a mix of Slash and AC: a more muted damage system that gives the player exactly what they earned from the effort put into pressuring the opponent.
  15. It's possible to get big damage in Slash; the difference between it and GGAC is that you have to actually work hard at pressuring your opponent to get it. I much prefer that to AC's "Touch someone, get funny HNK physics, and net a 50% combo" situations.
  16. My Samsung HDTV lags like a motherfucker, while my LG TV is good enough for me to hit Slayer links on. LG wins for me.
  17. As one of the top Eddie players in the U.S., I feel that he's a pretty solid character, but he has a serious problem: what to do if I'm knocked down? I mean, these broke ass Ky and Millia players get one lucky knockdown, run some stupid mixup game, and I'm dead? WTF is that? This is why I recommend one simple change to make Eddie competitive against such bullshittery: Give him a reversal DP. With a DP, Eddie players will no longer have to worry about how to put up a fight against such an assault, and he can truly become a competitive character against the upper tiers of the cast.
  18. Wow, way to be an ingrate. They're losing money even with the cover charge; least you can do is quit complaining and pay it.
  19. Where in NOVA do you live Huoshen? I'm in Alexandria.
  20. NOVA, land of Ragnas
