Okay, I somewhat posted about this in the tournament thread, but for the sake of making sure enough people see it as well as clarifying final details: I fully expect to be participating in both events tomorrow, but there is a very good chance I won't be able to communicate via any means with my computer, so I'll only have PSN. This is super inconvenient to everyone, but if someone could be willing to pass me news that way (basically like when it's my turn, more than anything), I'd appreciate it more than anything. I won't be able to read a streamchat or such :c I wish I could change this situation but I totally can't, and I definitely don't want to miss the event(s) due to such an inconvenience, so... yeah D: Sorry ;w;

There's an unfortunate chance I won't be able to attend u.u But I'll be sure to let you guys know this before the time it happens. Same applies to Shaka's thing, since it's the same day. I'm really upset about this, but it's a thing that could end up true.

I would definitely call it active, though you shouldn't expect to play a super diverse selection of players. And if you try to play Ranked you'll just get a whole bunch of laggers and 0-bars and unfun stuff, but going into lobbies will get you a good time so long as your connection's alright. EDIT: Also, I'm not sure if you come here Kicks, but good games and thanks for the set! Your style was throwing me and I wasn't sure what to do about it xD I'm not used to Akihiko playing that way. I think I was starting to get the hang of it. We should do that again sometime.

Sure, but I thought you were trying to stop having like nine-hour sittings because they're exhausting for the streamer/commentators and generally the energy levels drop after so long. At least so far as I've been able to tell.

I see your point :c You and Token should probably compare days together or something before the weekend comes up, though anything on November 29 would cause me to miss it, but I'm just one person and not as important as making sure both events run.

December 1? Before the PSN tournament, or... ? In case you hadn't seen that it's on that same day, that is, as that date was changed.

December 1 is like the best news you could have ever told me for this, truth be told. That basically resolves any work hiccups for me, certain Internet issues, and just plain gives me more time. I'm very thankful for these circumstances, personally :c Also, I'm glad you have work again, Token D: That's really good news.

There are merits to both, I'd say. Omnix and I just finished playing like 20 games while on Skype and even though it was pretty lax/casual/friendly, it still served as a bit of a training session too. Enough for him to shake off rust from BBCP and enough for me to... get slightly less bad than I was a couple hours ago, I guess xD But regardless. He said for someone like me (just for example) I might benefit more at this point by playing longer sets with people. But I mostly like the monthly tournaments too because I can go back and watch the footage after with commentary and from there gleam a general idea of how I won/lost. In general, I don't think there's a "wrong" choice for trying to help players, but it mostly just depends on how they choose to take from it, so long as there are others willing to help. FTs, tournaments, casual sets, or randoms, especially any with commentary or outside input/support, they all can help so long as you the player use it to examine your current state and figure out where you should be going next.

Everyone knows I'll FT5 as many people as possible. Gotta keep climbing! I think specific FTs between people of similar rank may be better in the long run than just votes for who wants to see what. The latter is perfectly fine, but seems a little gratuitous in general when it all becomes everybody wanting to see LK or Bace or however the votes end up skewed.

You know this turnip will be there in a heartbeat to go 0-2 again. *salutes* More randomly, I've been wondering about the dynamic of a 2v2 tournament or something. Is that a huge hassle to set up and maintain, or does it take too long to do in one sitting, or? I know after last time you guys probably don't want to spend the entire day streaming and commentating, so. I'm just kinda curious about the idea in general, I think.

I assume interest in P4A is pretty weak right now since BBCP and all, but as always I'm always willing to be part of any FTs on the weekend. I've got to practice harder than ever at this point. The only thing is that I'm not sure what day(s) I'm working this weekend u_u; So it might be best if I ended up accepting or challenging someone on the spot/at the time, rather than planning in advance, since I might not know when I work until the day before. I would not mind playing a set with Kyokugen, though, after what happened last week. And Luca's been wanting to play me, I think.

Super fun GG to Kyokugen for that mashfest of an ending to a match. My heart was racing those whole final forty seconds. Was definitely tons of fun.
