  1. I have next to no idea how to anti-air this guy. I'm assuming that 6A is my best bet if I want to do anything besides block?
  2. Ooo, that makes a lot more sense than what I had thought. It's sort of like a slow and overwhelming pressure more than a punish for whiffing something pressure. Interesting. It wouldn't really be on my mind, but I think my avatar in lobby-play attracts Nu players. They see it and home in. Maybe I should switch it to Jin or something.
  3. I guess what I have to work on is breaking my habit of jumping in, and focus more on zoning into pressure. Maybe watch other Mus play and learn their zoning techniques. I have a habit of forgetting about 236A. ._. Thanks for the tips, everyone!
  4. I like to live on the wild side (which I really just mean "I'm pretty lost in this game")! What about Nu matchups? Am I alone in thinking that we kinda' have the shorter straw in that matchup? I've been thinking that it's a really elaborate guessing game until we can get a stein or two on the field, then we can set up pressure into the corner. Thoughts? Tips?
  5. So, is it just me, or does Terumi's j.D clash with Wisdom of the Divines? On two separate occasions, I thought I had managed to set off the most perfect distortion to counter his j.D in the corner, but both attacks just...didn't hit. Looking at the Dustloop wiki, it doesn't say that his j.D clashes or anything (seriously--it hardly says anything). Any insight?
  6. It doesn't really seem like you can play too lame in this matchup. I went against a few today, trying to figure it out, and it seemed to me that if you try to lame her, she'll try to lame back until she can get 8 stacks (or whatever they're called). If you come in from the air, she can throw out her 623A, so it seems to me that the matchup is just trying to keep mid-range from her--like Ky--and punish her when she whiffs a normal or something, and then rush her down (until she gets 50 meter, in which case, watch out for the wakeup super). Thoughts? I'm not the best by any means, but I think it'll help get the ball rolling.
  7. Man, I swear, I'm just gonna send you an LGP to record this stupid shit, haha.
  8. Something I've been wondering is, for the tachi combo ender, can you use anything but j.6D? I mean, maybe j.2D and then do it? I haven't been able to get the backdash out properly afterwards, and was wondering if anyone else could. Maybe it's just user-error. Maybe I'm just bad at video games.
  9. Just some ideas I've been kicking around: Airthrow->6C->tachi->j.6D->bdc.C->j.2C - 2582 dmg./18 heat. Works midscreen, I couldn't get the other two to work for me (chalking it up to operator error). Airthrow->rapid j.C->j.2C->dash 2B->5C->6C->tachi->j.6D->bdc.C->j.nD - 2995 dmg./14 heat after rapid. Again, works midscreen, and you can either RC before her flip (requires you to jump backwards in order to land j.C), or RC after she's in the air, and just airdash forward. Either way, I don't really like this one because I like ending with knockdowns. I couldn't figure out how to get j.DP to link like in one of the 3C RC combos. Anyone have any ideas? My execution just shot out because it's so late, but I'll try to check the damage on the 50 meter 3C combos later.
