There's some miscommunication going on. I'm sure you guys know about running low on Orgia meter and needing to unfly, but still wanting to keep the pressure on. Certain combos/enders allow you to unfly and still safejump afterwards (as long as they're still mashing on tech). What I'm wanting to know is how to still "safely" do it if they don't tech. I have an idea, but I haven't tried it yet.

Sweep doesn't low profile anything afaik. Anyway. The question was why wouldn't we have to guess with unfly > safejump if they don't mash on tech. So what you're saying doesn't work. What you're saying also doesn't work in general. If you unfly as your opponent is teching and then go for the jump, the timing is wrong. You have to do certain combos (an example would be sweep > c megido) that let you unfly before your opponent is allowed to hit the ground and tech. Safejump timing is jumping as soon as your opponent hits the ground.

If you are talking about after sweep, he is probably going for the triple megido sweep combo. I actually have no idea what you're talking about though. You didn't give any context. @Psykotik There is no reason to have to guess and bait any reversal as Aigis as long as you're in Orgia mode. I think I may go into training mode and test unfly safejumps for when they don't tech too (so that there is no guess).

Ah, so I'm not the only person that felt like their inputs were dropping (and I'm not even talking about online, just offline). I'm using a Hori VLX 360 version. Either that, or I just suck at playing this game on stick.

It's okay. I played with someone from Cali and it wasn't too horrible. I live 5 hrs away from Houston so we should be good. I'll be online once my pad + converter comes in the mail.

That's actually pretty far. If you have a facebook (you probably don't) you should join the Louisiana Fighting Game Community and New Orleans Fighting Game Community if you're interested in meeting the competitive scene. If you want to play a bit sometime tomorrow I'm down for games also (on xbl obviously).

If you're getting DPed, you just don't know the timing. Just jump once your opponent hits the ground.

Or you can just do safe jump like normal and if they don't tech, you land and then do dash while in orgia mode and end your dash as the tech animation finishes and do meaty j.b while blocking. I'm going to test out what you just shared though and see how that works out on orgia meter.

I haven't really posted on dustloop regularly since Guilty Gear has faded out, but I want to say good games to everyone I've played. I recognize a lot of names (from p4 xbl) in here. Where do you live in Louisiana?
