Finally got to try P4U2 today at the Monday night Detroit gathering. My copy of that and UNIEL should both arrive any day now, so I can get more into those anime games and not be spending all my time on Street Fighter. There's been a start up of people playing Saturday evenings around Lansing, there's a facebook group called Capital City Fighting Games that could give you more info. I don't know if anyone here plays GG right now. There's some hype for Xrd so some people should be trying to learn it when that comes out, at least. There's also just some random get-togethers of a couple people at a time in the Lansing area as we find out we're free, since the scene isn't really that big yet here.

Well dang, there goes my entire game plan. Time to get working on new neutral game strats.

looool my match, I think I know how it's going to go (extra advice on it can't hurt though!). Also, Sunday is the only of those three days that really works for me, so I'm glad we're sticking with that.

Lansing area? Lurking? That sounds like me. There's a couple other people around here too, but not a ton of us. If we can get something going around this area, that would be great. I go to the Monday events in Southfield once every few weeks, those are mostly Capcom fighters but there's usually some setups with other stuff too. I heard about these Friday events in a facebook group a little while back but haven't ever been to one.

This might be something I'd look to do. I've still got a lot of learning to do with this game and would gladly take advice to help me get better at the game.
