I've been playing since a month or 2 after CS1 came out, and I'm still trying to become better with Mu, mostly in execution as a whole and mid-screen combos. My background for fighting games is playing Street Fighter 2 at the laundrymat when I was like, 5 or so. I wasn't really that good at it, and didn't really play other fighters until Blazblue entered my life.

I actually got into BB due to my high school having a video game club, where they were having some tourneys one day after school, one of which was CS1. I gave it a shot with the first match being a Noel mirror (the other person was also playing for the first time) and I actually got an astral from mashing buttons. Next match, I went with Mu instead of Noel, and got wrecked, although a few months later, I bought CS1 for myself and rushed through story mode to get Mu for myself, who I loyally main to this day. Also had bought CT PSP and used Hakumen there, although I mostly stuck to CS1 and on. Got CP on preorder from Japan and planning to still main Mu while also using Terumi.

I remember my first time playing BB was back at a tourney for CS1 some people in my old high school were doing, and I went Noel for the first match and won with a Astral without even knowing what I was doing. Next match, I went to Mu for some dumb reason and just got wrecked, although I liked how she looked. When I got my own copy of CS1, I just sped through story mode to get Mu so I could practice, and I've stuck with her since. Mostly picked up Ragna in Extend due to a friend of mine that I go against a lot playing Ragna, and he taught me how to play as him. My story for mains, although my preference for a character is to have versatility in what they can do, like Mu with good close range potential along with decent zoning.
