It looks like Kintoki Douji but that can't be Teddie. I've used Teddie long enough to identify him in blurred images and when the image is tiny. My thought would be either a new character with a similar persona animation to Kintoki Douji's held item throw or Teddie in his human form.

I haven't looked into it yet but by new version do they mean a new patch or like another story after Ultimax?
-
I'm glad Teddie moved up in the tier list (unless that order isn't specific) but I wish Aigis and Narukami weren't getting more buffs then debuffs. I also didn't think Junpei was going to be that low on the list.

Seems like it could be worth it if 1) you can pull it off and 2) if it's right before the opponent gets into awakening mode.

If it's not too late to enter I'll give this a try. PSN: MegaGrandTale Location: New York Timezone: EST -
GG's to BloodyCrimson5 and everyone who entered his room. It felt nice to be recognized when i entered the room, then again there aren't that many Teddie mainers to begin with. I had alot of fun and it was some good practice for some of my harder to beat characters. My favorite part was when the Akihiko player said i comboed 3 Teddie Missiles in the same combo one after another. I got a good laugh out of that one. Hope you learned some things about Teddie too. looking foward for more fights in the future.

GG's from Flux earlier. I don't remember if i won or not because i fought a very annoying Narukami after and my mind is blank right now. That S. Labrys tech is so annoying even for Teddie.
-
I think silence will still matter on normal Sho because it blocks burst until it goes away.
-
I understand that Aigis' hidded super will probably never happen in compeditive matches, but it's the thought of them giving her even more stuff that bothers me. I like most of the changes to the entire cast, i like that the low tiers have a better chance now, but i don't like the fact that they keep giving the best characters more stuff, even if it's useless it still annoys me.

While I'm happy with all the Teddie videos i found, does anyone know any good Kanji matches?
-
I always found that her air approach was good against most characters and her pressure worked most of the time. Sure she's predictable in most cases but she could end the round in little time with just one reset. Kind of like how Naoto is like now in P4U2. The roar is still good cause of the armor, and her grab reset always works if the opponent is recoverying too early
-
I always thought Liz was a good character and still is in P4U2. It's just people gravitate towards characters that can win almost everytime once they know how to use the character. Liz is combo heavy and one dropped combo can almost kill her. Even more so now with SP Supers and most recovery moves now being Fatal Counter.

I know how you feel. Only thing i noticed from watching the shadow matches is that Teddie's old auto combo has changes in the 3rd hit. In P4A, Teddie's auto combo was slow enough for players to roll out of after the 2nd hit on block. Now it all connects on block.
-
Yeah i am. I just feel like the pay off isn't there. Shadow Fury is good but it could have been better if they had invincibility frames like bursts on start up or like the few frames you get in UMVC3 when using X factor.
-
Since the Shadows have the old auto combo's mixed with the new changes, they won't feel like the previous version. If S.Aigis was exactly like P4A Aigis, then there'd be more of her. For some characters. the 20% damage loss can be a problem. Shadow Yosuke gets hit the hardest on this. The meter could also be a problem. While you need 100 to go berserk, during the match you need the meter to get a better approach or to extend a combo. Shadows have to keep it the whole time to get an edge. Awakening is good for the defense boost you get too. Shadows can't get it. Besides seeing your favorite Shadow's Opening and Closing animations, i don't see much use for them.
-
Also his J.2C ain't useless. It can make reaching air characters like Yosuke easier to hit and can be used to increase the air time of Teddie when mixed with his item throws. Plus it makes Kintoki Douji safer against getting hit + making it even more random since Teddie will fall down afterwards and the item will take longer to come out. Based on the item thrown it can make for delayed hits that can catch the opponent off guard.
-
Depending on how far Teddie's ending of his auto combos pushes the opponent and the start up of Teddie's air bearscrew B, i don't think his FC mid screen is gone. His old one put him and the opponent in the air + his new auto combo is jump cancelable. If a tiger knee motion is fast enough, then Teddie might not go full screen with his bearscrew like he does on the ground. Only difference is using his auto combo to start instead of the bat.
-
That didn't even combo into each other so you could block it, but you'd be in hitstun forever + slowdown + yukari can still move. It will be patched but it's just nice to find this early so they can patch it. Also i noticed AoA's now require 17 hits and then either launch or wall bounce. It's not much but it's just something i noticed watching a chie use it.
-
Nothing wrong here.

Will score attack have saves like story modes bookmarks? So this time we won't have to restart to the beginning when we (and we will!) lose?
-
Does the new Score Attack have saves?
-
From what I've seen it looks like the burst animation and it freezes the screen for a sec. Only seen it during combos though. I'd say yes because only shadows can use it but it's too early for me to tell. Plus i haven't seen much Shadow character gameplay
-
Score Attack in P4A was fun for only your Main in my opinion. I felt like i could only beat it with Teddie because that's who i used. I also beat it with Kanji but it's easy with command throws but he did make Liz look like a complete joke

As long as Sho's introduction in the story mode isn't shit, I'm ok with this roster. I wouldn't mind getting the entire roster from Persona 3 in the game to see all of them 3 years older (and since this version is suppose to be more Persona 3 based) but we will have to see what they decide to do in the future.
