With a Providence/LaGOWE team I'm assuming the strategy is run away/harrass. Would you want the opponent to get split up between the providence and LaGOWE; with the LaGOWE harrassing the mech focused his partner when the providence needs to gain more distance? Or would you have them both chasing the Providence, trying to dodge Dragoon shots (which is favorable since no ground would be gained against the providence) with the the LaGOWE capitalizing on damage opportunities provided by connected Dragoon shots; or vise versa? Edit: Also, more info on the ranbats when it become available please. Edit 2: How well does a Providence/CGUE team fare? CGUE would presumably be able to capitalize damage off of Dragoon shots, but is he less synergetic than LaGOWE?

I know the game is hype as fuck, all you have to do is watch a single match to know that. Do you happen to know a good source of general information about the game for a beginner? Fun combo I've been dicking around with on testament. Been too lazy to test it on the cast, but it should work on alot of characters. From a bit past midscreen (crouching only) 6k>5k>6P>frc>K mappa>5K>jS(2)>j2K>jK>whatever the fuck you want. I usually do 2s>jK>j2k>jK>djK>dj2K>djD. Pretty sure you can do one rep of 5H>jKx2 into 5H>IAD jD. I think that might be a little dependent on having a slight amount of guard bar. Fun combo though, not sure if anybody knew about it or knew a better combo for 25% at midscreen off of 6k on crouching. 208+ dmg Edit: jS(1)>j2k>jK>5H>IAD jKx2>5H>IAD jD works quite well.

On another note. I want to play some GG at UFO this weekend. I assume everybody will be there, but who will actually be playing besides Jeff?

Let me help you with not reading what I said. On the SRK thread it says the tournament starts at noon. Games are not played at noon, but that is when the tourny "officially" starts. Most people will already be there at this time. The first games played is BB, which is at 2. So ya no games until 2. I have no interest in playing BB until after CS, at which time I might give it a try. The next game is SF4. SF4 is a fun game that I enjoy sucking at when there's nothing better to play. However traveling for it isn't to high on my list, even just to New Braunfels. Those are the only 2 games currently listed on the roster. Now like I said, if GG was on the roster I would strongly consider driving down there for it. GG is not on there at this time. I go to class from 9am-noon on saturday, this is a fact. GG would probably not even be played if it were on the list until 6pm, registration probably 2 hrs beforehand. Very manageable for me to attend... if that were the case. So ya, whatever John. I don't want to travel to play a game I don't enjoy and a game I kind of enjoy playing. If a game I ENJOY GREATLY was on there I would like to attend. Sorry I don't attend a tourny when there aren't games I like. :8/: Edit: Oops there are 3 games, forgot about KoF12. Fun game for the 15 mintues I played it one time. Know nothing about it though.

If GG was on the roster I would probably hit that up. It looks fun, but I don't get out of class until noon that day. =/
