Sorry if this was asked before but is there ANY way to use training mode while you are waiting in a player room you created? (like you could in Extend) I looked up the menu translation posted, I fiddled a bit with all the options but I didn't see anything like that. If not, why oh why would they remove that? Also in the arcade lobbies is there a way to select a minimal connection quality (2+ for example)? Having to check the connection quality next to an often long list of players can often takes a long time. Other question: There's no way to actually watch/spectacle a match in the arcade lobbies, is there? That would have been way awesome honestly. Also I tried to play ranked but all I see players from Japan :/ As a result every player I played has a 0 PSR.

I read a lot of people report that CT/CS/Extend's netplay was noticeably worse on PS3 than on 360. Can't comment on that since I never play BB on PS3 before. Obviously I had to go PS3 for CP, but maybe they fixed whatever that may have been wrong with the netcode on PS3 and brought it to parity with X360 (had CP been release on it anyway). In any cases, this pretty much put the worries I had about the netcode on PS3 to rest. Hope even more players join after it's release in NA. Oh, and for anyone playing online: Please don't use wireless for Heaven's sake! You can't make the distance that separate you and the other person any shorter of course, but you can not make it worse needlessly by using wired.

Likewise :/ None of Tager's old b&b combos from EX works anymore. Time for me to hit challenge and look at some combo vid.

GG mr mortified. There were a few lag spikes but when it was smooth I thought the connection/lag was pretty good. The lobbies are pretty neat. Feeling nostalgic for arcades >_<

I just had a few matches with Psychotik94 and Achtzehn. I'm happy to report that the netcode seem very solid. More so than before even, though maybe it was just random luck, can't confirm for certain. Still getting use to my new stick (and the PS3 and CP), so I kind of play not as well as usual. Had about 50/50 W/L ratio. GGs! I can play right now, I'll wait in the New York region lobby.

This. What's been on YT so far is severely cut versions of the songs. Well I won't have to use yt since I'm getting the game but I assume someone will upload them shortly after.

(Hope posting the occasional gif is not against the rule or anything, otherwise let me know I'll edit) Same here. Hope once I begin the DL it doesn't go at 25k sec... Just for reference how much did the 10,000 card cost you? I got 7000 yen (1x 5000 + 2x 1000) and it went up to about 90$...Probably the most expensive single I ever bought but for me, it was worth it for not waiting until march 2014 or whatever it is they release it in North America. (I don't even want to think about poor Europe)

Sorry if this the wrong place to ask. I originally pre-ordered CP from playsia but cancelled after I learned it was going digital day-1. So I have everything set up: got 7000Yen on my JP account sitting...can anyone tell me if this is enough, or...will it be 6800 yen...plus taxes??? (i.e: 7000+ something) please tell me it's enough... Anyway...I'm frigging -hyped-. Haven't bought a game day-1 in years.

Thanks everyone for the links. I went on a budget Hori stick: http://stores.horiusa.com/-strse-163/PlayStation-3-Fighting-Stick/Detail.bok It's so small though...Now I feel so inadequate with such a stick. I feel everyone will make fun of my small stick >_< Also, got my JPN points off eBay. 7000 yen is enough right? Hope there's no additional sales taxes and shit. Day fucking one. My Waareto is ready.gif -

Is there a place in the Montreal area where they sell sticks for PS3? (even if they are bundled with games) If not, where d'you get yours online? -

Just read a comment on the dustloop forum and it might explain the reason why often XBL feels smoother and as I suspected, it has nothing to do with each network architecture or anything because it's all handled P2P. PS3 comes with Wifi, 360 doesn't...:/ So a lot more people will use wireless during matches, with...approximate results...In other news lots of people are stupid and the sky is blue (Blaze blue ) @Brice Yeah, I also think the decision to not port to 360 has more to do with them not wanting to have anything to do with Mircrosoft anymore. The only answer they gave when asked why is: "Well...that's a question for the publishers...*Ask Publishers* Well, that's a question for the devs..." In other words "no comment" http://www.siliconera.com/2013/06/12/blazblue-chronophantasma-will-not-be-released-for-xbox-360/ It's understandable, to not want to associate with MS I mean, but will suck for some of their userbase outside Japan. @Everyone #CheckYourOfflinePrivilege -

Online can never compare to offline obviously. But for some people that's almost the only access they'll have to FGs. RIP arcades... I was more wondering if any differences really existed between the PSN and XBL netplay. GGPO (or any similar netcode with predictive/rollback code) should be the standard imo. Of course, if someone's trying to play with another player at the other side of the earth, it's just going to be an unplayable mess with characters jumping/teleporting all over the place. For relatively "short" distances though (like, a few 100 kms) it works great. I've matches in Skullgirls with New York players that really, actually felt like they were offline (which didn't really matter since I suck at that game). But Japanese companies seem not too fond of it. -

Quick question: I know you guys mostly play offline and this might not be the best place to ask but since some of you have both their PSN and XBL tag I figured I would ask: I've only play BB and other fighters on XBL. I keep reading that the online play is considerably worse/laggier on PSN than on XBL, including for BB. Those who have played on both, have you found this to be true? (at equal distance of course -I'm not expecting a playable connection with someone in Japan obviously) Thing is, since the connection is strictly Peep-to-Peer afaik, I can't think of any reasons why this would be the case... Yet I keep reading such comments of people in the online match finder section of dustloop and now, I worry that the netplay will be absolute ass with BBCP...>_< Which would be such a bummer because the BB netplay is awesome on XBL: Not perfect, it's obviously not quite like offline but many of the match I have with guys on the eastcoast like I owner I, Tsunaa, Hedgesledge sometimes often almost feel like offline, (i.e: when you can actually react to an overhead for example). Sigh...I love Blazblue and Arc Sys Work don't get me wrong, but... fuck their publisher. Seriously like: Big Time. The decision to not publish CP on 360 (after every BBs appeared on it) was like a big "Fuck You you Shiats!" to all their 360 userbase. And even though like I said I never played fighters on PS3 until now, the decision to Region Lock P4A (which has NEVER. BEEN. DONE. BEFORE. afaik on PS3) was like...dude...the fuck is wrong with them? Are they fucking 'trying' to alienate their userbase? Again, I do make the distinction between dev and publisher and I understand that they're not exactly CoD huge but...just wtf... Anyway, sorry for ranting. -

Doh. Must have confused with another player. I also remember Niniheart (played Makoto if I remember correctly) and Leo7 or something along that, though I'm not sure if he's a Montreal player (good Valk player). What suck is that I usually have better connections with New York players then I do with other Montreal players, for some reasons.
