Yo what's the word on nitroplus blasterz? Is it any good/got people from dfw that are practicing it?

I think I'm out of town next weekend, but if I'm not I'd go to ranbats over barfights. If there's really not gonna be a lot of places for casuals its hard to qualify driving out for no practice.

Had fun at ranbats. Shoutouts to more random thunder fists, more online tactics, and actually learning things about the game. I really appreciate when someone offers me advice about what I'm doing wrong/how to deal with a certain mechanic, even when I don't try to immediately implement it in the next round. I'm bringing a p4a setup. I'm going to be hearing the new sound from p4u2 for hits all day.

There was a big Persona announcement this morning (P5, 3DS RPG, Vita rhythm game (?!), P4UC details) and a new trailer with some gameplay for Sho Minazuki. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDFeCqKdXSc (skip to around 23 minutes) Hard to tell, but it looks like his super put him into awakening. Also, he had no Persona cards in one fight but then had 4 cards in another, so perhaps he has two modes, one that fights without one and one that doesn't? From his gameplay it looked like a lot of his moves took him into the air, and it seemed like he had a Persona counterattack. I'm really curious how much more or less viable the shadow character are going to be. The animations and voice acting for the shadow characters looks pretty good... Shadow Kanji, lol. So hyped for this game.

Today's P4A setup at AB4 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcD_t4xaCOk Humbling to say the least. At one point the game reminded me I had lost 25 in a row. I had fun anyway, think I'll keep putting time into the game that everyone hates, apparently.

2 things. One, I'm gonna bring a setup with P4A to AB4. I'm looking to grind games basically all event long both Sat/Sunday. Two, if I'm reading the registration info for AB4 right, you have to pay 40 bucks + an entry fee per game to play? So if I only wanna play P4A I have to pay 50 bucks? Oh and I guess third: I'm looking for some practice partners all this week via netplay or in person if you wanna drive out to Highland Park for a few hours of grinding games.

I met some cool guys at Quakecon that invited me to a meetup that I really enjoyed (I think it was at someone named Jet's house?). I've been too beta to show up to any meetups since then, mainly because I am shit and only play P4A. I'm looking to practice online or meetup once the BBCP craze is over.
