For me I just used normal attacks to finish rounds and then fought Akira. Then used supers as much as possible to end rounds and fought Selvaria. I don't know if that's what did it but I unlocked them like that.

This is true I should have mentioned that. I prefer digital anyway for fighting games nowadays. Of course not everyone has money to just throw at it like that so I understand.
