Thanx. Someone who's helping me out gave me this kombo: 2B>5C>3C~236D>Dash 5C>6C>Dash 5C>2Csjc>jCx5(Delay Last)>5C>2Csjc>jCx5(Delay Last)>5C>2Csjc>jCx5~214B So jump C loops kinda sounds right. I've gotten better at it but I'm still grinding it out.

Kan someone help me out with korner kombos? I don't know what to do when I put them in the korner with 623D or if I just hit them in the korner. I usually just do a regular midscreen kombo. I sometimes do 2A>5B>3c~214D~66 B>66 A>5C(2)>2C>4D A>j.8D A>623D and then don't know what to do. Also, if someone kan help me out with a Super Snake Kick konversion kombo that would be awesome!

This question seems a bit vague and I'm somewhat new to this game so I may not be of much help but here's what I got about the character from my understanding: IF I'M WRONG ABOUT SOMETHING SOMEONE PLEASE KORRECT ME Hazama seems to work best at two ranges, klose range, and far. At mid range (even 1 short dash away he seems to be at a disadvantage to other characters). Fortunately his Drive allows him to make quick escapes back to fullscreen and once they start chasing you, you kan meet them up with your dash as they dash in. Still, you have to be kareful about when you make those escapes or dash ins as his defense is a bit lacking (I've even gotten trades for doing his 236236B) and after blocking (with the pushback brought on from strings) you will often be put into that disadvantage range again.. At this range, I usually do one of three things (if I'm sensing aggression) 3C to fight back, or wait for the jump to 5A, or wait for the dash in to 2A. If they do something you didn't expect, don't be afraid to block again. There's more I kan explain but I don't want it to drag. Plus, I am still new so I may be a lil off.. But if you have more specific questions I'll do my best to answer them. -

Kool.. May I ask what's the first best kombo? I kinda adjust on the spot to their height on whether I do one j.C or two before the double jump.. Do you by any chance know anywhere where I kan see recent Hazama play? (Like within these two months or at least this year) And has anybody been placing with him at Majors? I really want to see how he's played by different people and maybe steal some kombos and tech. PS: I have the Japanese version (and kan't read Japanese) so I don't always recognize when you guys kall the moves by their actual names. lol. -

Thanx.. I think I got it by delaying the last j.C but I wasn't getting it a lot. I'll keep trying. Does it do that much damage btw? I've been doing a kombo that looked like it was similar meterless damage: 2A>5B>3C~214D~66B>66 5A>5C(2)>2C>4D>j.8DD>j.Cx2>j.Cx5~214B PS: Even if it doesn't do that much damage I still want to get it down. It sounds so deadly... ...and Swaggy. Edit: Was simpler than I thought... Pretty fun to do too. -

Alright. Been doing better on the 214D~66 B > 66 5A kombo... But now I don't know the timing on the 5Cjc > j.Cx4 > 5Cjc > j.Cx5 follow up. Any tips? I've gotten it once by changing my timing somehow but I don't know what parts to speed up and what parts to slow down.. -

Yeah. I noticed this, but I'll try to get better at the 2A, 2B/5B into 3C kombo since it gives me more options with one being a low and the other being plus. It's taking me longer than I thought to get this down konsistently though.. =/ -

Thanx. It does look like a sliding 5A... I'm going to just do the sliding 5A everytime so I don't have to think as much (and kan focus on thinking about other things). I also figured out the timing too. Hazama actually recovers right when the opponent starts falling. I think I kan get it down, I just have not be so lazy (slow) with my dash inputs. -

Alright. Just one question.. Am I supposed to be able to see the dash or am I just supposed to know that I did it? I feel like I'm not getting the dash a lot of times but sometimes I'm still hitting him with 5A so I'm guessing it's working...? -

Thanx.. That makes sense. I was thinking it would be something having to do with his defense... Valk was actually someone I was interested in previously but I feel like Hazama is more my style (like playing both at range and klose up). I kinda thought it would be outdated, that's why I asked. Fortunately it's only two pages of stuff, so it probably isn't too bad. Any idea on when the patch will be released? PS: For "3C > 214D~66B > 66 5A" do I need to do 66 before 5A? I haven't been able to dash after the recovery of 214D~66B and I've been getting it with just raw 5A when I start the kombo with 5B into 3C (my go to kombo off of a Drive hit). However, I haven't been able to get the kombo off a 2A, 2B, into 3C hit konfirm. -

Hey guys.. I was thinking of getting into this game and maining Hazama. Usually one of the first things I do once I decide I like a character enough is look at that character's worse match ups. The basic principle is that if I kan handle my main's worse match ups, I kan handle anything. So what are Hazama's worse match ups in your opinion? And most importantly, why? Also, if any of you guys have a list of BnB's that would be great! I'll check out the kombo thread tomorrow but with soo many kombo variations in this game, it's hard to tell what's optimal.. I do not kare about difficulty, but I do kare about optimization (oki, positioning, damage)... PS: Is the first page of the kombo thread regularly updated? -
I always have to look it up when people mention the distortions by name... =/ Sounds good though..

41236C is projectile invincible so you kan use that for 50% Heat. You kan also stuff them out with 6C if you're in range and on CH you get a dash 5B into full kombo. Just make sure you have meter for a Rapid Kancel if you do that as it is really unsafe on block. Additionally you kan just run in which is something you kan't normally do with Hazama. From what I kan tell (and I am fairly new to this game) you usually want to play footsies at Midrange against good zoners until you kan find an opening. 5C and j.C work the best for that as they give you meter.

I think something we should work on is finding out optimal kombos for reversing your position (to put your opponent in the korner behind you). This most likely requires the use of 41236C but I'm thinking it'll be better to do the 41236C earlier in the kombo rather than later so that you kan proceed to push them into the korner after you switch positions rather than tacking it on as an ender. Also, I noticed that some of these kombos simply don't work on Rachel. The most kommon issues are that either the 6D pushes them too far away to follow up with 236D or the 5D pushes them too far away for 6D to konnect like in the quoted example.

I didn't check all your kombos but your first doesn't work on Rachel. I was excited at the fact that you said optimal & practical but seeing as my training partner uses Rachel. I kan't really use it.. The second 5C doesn't konnect. Kurrently I'm trying to find the highest damage kombos that works on ALL characters. (Or at least Rachel)

That's exactly what I thought. Reason I asked was because people keep saying that the only standing overhead he has is his Distortion. I was thinking you kould just block after the flash freeze.

I got the term from reading the post by "EXonestar" on page 4. Didn't even think about it.. lol. "Break" still kinda makes sense somehow. "Brake" has more reason to it though. I was just going to kall it kancels.. It sort of reminds me of Kabal's Nomad Dash Kancels in MK. Same Back-Forward motions. With notable differences of kourse. Thanx. All this helps a lot. It's great to have a starting point like this. Otherwise, I tend to get so obsessed on one aspect that I neglect all the others and then when I actually go into a match I realize that I am not quite prepared yet. Oh, and does this kombo reset the damage kounter after 5C?: -2A > 2C > 6B > 2B > 5C > 236B~236B They don't seem to be blocking when set to auto-block but the 236B~236B is kounted as a separate two hit kombo.

Thanx. I wasn't really getting w[5B]. I usually just morph and then my h[5B] goes through their invincibility frames.. When I noticed that the bot kept teching I sped up and that's when I did get w[5B] a few times but very rarely. I tend to notice when I'm going to drop it. I guess it's just practice. As long as there's no special trick that I'm missing then I'm fine with that. I just hate practicing something for hours and then realizing that I was doing it wrong. So I'm going to practice that, work on the listed BnB's, and practice the "wolf break" as well as other mobility options. Any advice? Any mobility options in particular I should know about?

Hey guys. I really want to pick up Valkenhayn. I'm new to this game but I'm not new to fighting games. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on Valkenhayn's Challenge #23? I kan't land the 5D 5B part. I've landed it like twice but I don't understand it. Do I have to delay the w[j.A] late so that I land fast enough to transform and hit them with 5B? This is the only thing I kan think of and I'm not even sure if it's possible to delay it. Here's the full kombo with the part I kan't land in Red: w[j.C 5B 5C 6D j.A] 5D 5B 5C j.B dj.B j.C
