  1. Hey everyone just a heads up that we will be having Xrd at TGZ (this time we will have casual station all day for you guys). the info is below. Hope to see you guys out there. "Here is the official event page for the up coming ranbat season! Can't wait to see you all out there. Also note venue fee being 8 bucks if you attend both days if not it's the standard 5." https://www.facebook.com/events/585846424952556/
  2. Alright so I spoke to the main TO and for stream they will work out a way to get xrd on stream but no promises. Unfortunately the bandwidth might not support multiple streams and they want to guarantee the main stream won't have issues. As for pools and brackets if anyone wants to help out please volunteer at www.rewiredaz.com I'm going to work along side the main TO to help run the bracket but any other support is helpful. As well as if you have any other questions you can contact him directly on the website under contacts. Let me know if you guys have any other direct questions I might be able to answer.
  3. I'll get more info and get back to you. From what I was told we should be solid on internet since we will have a main stream but if we could do multiple streams I think that would be solid.
  4. So just saying as far as brackets go and pools etc. I could help run Xrd at rewired. I'm running KI and possible going to be running MKX. I'll talk more to nick about it and who I have to talk to in helping with it. Seeing as I already did this for TGZ ranbats I'm more then happy to help the community out. Any questions you guys need answered. I have my own I need to ask him but if you guys want to include something let me know and I will get back to you.
  5. It's really rewarding running events which is why I can't seem to walk away. Even we don't end up doing any anime game Ryan if there is any flyers for your events you would like to send my way I would love to actively promote them on stream. It's not much but still spreading the word could be nice. Since I no longer live in Chandler and I live right down the street from UAT I should be able to check in on the monthly as long as I'm not TO'in etc.
  6. I want to make this 100% clear. I don't hold it against anyone that doesn't show up for Xrd or that goes to UAT over TGZ. We appreciate the hype you guys bring and in turn try to provide a venue to be hype at. Tbh the size of the turn out etc isn't really that huge of a concern. Last ranbat I actually talked with Ryan about the monthly you guys hold and that having Xrd at the morning slot would be the best idea just in case you guys have to schedule on the same day (remember I went to UAT and did scheduling for them and I know that those stupid board game assholes take the nice big room) so I know how hard it is to look down dates there. I also thought that if we did it early in the day and you guys had UAT the same day that casuals not being at TGZ wouldn't be a huge deal (but again you paid venue etc). At the end of the day it's about bringing people together. I love watching/playing anime games so that's why I try to reach out. Again I never want people to chose between a venue specially since UAT isn't all the bad when you get a good room. This is why I wanted to get a pulse on how people feel also how people were feeling anime wise to begin with. You guys are always welcome at TGZ so don't be strangers. I want to hold a stupid anime tourney there one of these days where it's free prizes and you just pay venue but the whole day is random anime games like a fist of the north star tourney and a meltyblood one as well. Thats for another time though. Thanks for the feedback thus far guys and let me know what you think.
  7. side note. Things looking to improve this season. Working headset audio at every station as well as 2 streams so no split stream time.
  8. Interest check for Xrd Ranbats at TGZ starting end of September. Time slot would be last time slot so 6-midnight. This means there would be casual stations opened as soon as the tourney is over/getting down to the last few games where we could open up setups for casuals. I have been out of the loop for a little bit because of a life emergency but I did try to read everything that happened post ranbats and it seems the most common topic was your not getting your bang for your buck when it came to ranbats at TGZ. I would like to say thank you for all that did come out. There were plenty of hype matches. That being said I try to look to improve things and since SFxT will most likely not be at the ranbats any more we legistily can move Xrd (or any Anime game) to either the first or last spot depending on interest. Again just gauging interest if the vast majority don't want it, it's all good. I know some people like the tourney setting with something on the line rather and that's what ranbats is about. So let me know, anime is always welcome at TGZ.
  9. Just saying if you guys ever want to run an event there i.e. make it so you guys have X amount of stations (which is TGZ's equipment etc) they won't charge you anything to run it they will just charge venue fee. So say you wanted to run 3 anime games. They have 8 stations you get for the cost of 5 dollar venue fee. You get it from open to close essentially but they would talk to you about it etc. They are very accommodating and what you guys would need to room for casual stations as well as tourney stations. The place needs more stations to have tourney stations and casuals stations which is the goal, to have a venue where people don't have to leave to play their game more. Just thought I would chime in and let you guys know if you did want to run something there they are totally cool with helping out just have to let them know in advance and let them know times etc. They can provide what they can as far as consoles and monitors goes etc. Of course it's nice to have 206/207 free but at the same time if you needed tgz to your selves it's an option and also a free option minus the venue fee per person. (P.S. they will usually as the TO if they want part of the venue fee which is something I told them to keep when doing ranbats since they bought all the consoles and monitors etc so if that was something your interested in as well it's there for you).
  10. Hey guys, Thanks for coming out last Saturday to the first of 5 Ranbat events. The hype was real in a nice 16 man bracket. Sorry again about the late start. The matches were awesome specially grand finals. We look forward to seeing you all again on the 11th at the same time for more Xrd! Again the points for this go towards top 3 of the season. Top 3 of the season gets a piece of the season pot. 1st place last Saturday I believe got something like 70+ Archive of Winners, Losers, and Grand Finals https://www.youtube.com/cha…/UCwDrPe8j_xGlhlrmn_NT4Kg/videos GG: Xrd Season Points 1st) H-F Blade (7pts) 2nd) FFN Kyoku (5pts) 3rd) Luke (4pts) 4th) ROCK (3pts) 5th) Saber (2pts) 5th) Kenja (2pts) 7th) Steve (1pts) 7th) AZHP | Tubazo1989 (1pts)
  11. Nion we should actually have all the stations covered so you won't need to bring anything but if you wanted to because of BBCP and P4 you can. We will allow anything to be played before the event. Casuals start at 11am. tourney time is 1pm so we will be switching all consoles over to Xrd/KI since those two will run together. Hope you can find a ride. I would offer but I will be there till like 2am.
  12. Just a friendly reminder that this Saturday is the 1 event in the 5 event Ranbat season for Xrd at TGZ. The first event will feature a 60 dollar pot bonus for Xrd. Can't wait to see you guys out here with some high level Xrd action. Look forward to meeting everyone! https://www.facebook.com/events/802667109803163/

  14. The schedule is KI and GG at the same time. Then SF4 after that. Then SFxT and Marvel at the same time. So we have 3 time slots. I really want to add more games but the space restricts it. I highly suggest though if you guys wanted to do casuals to head to UAT afterwards hell even if you don't have a room reserved you guys can take over a class room. I was talking about trying and getting other anime games going on sunday but wasn't sure how interested you guys would be for uniel, p4, BB on sunday. Let me know if you guys have any more questions. The only time we would have setups really is after the SF event since Cross only needs 2 setups for their event, but marvel will likely need 4 (hopefully). Street fighter will indeed need all 8 though TGZ has been talking about getting a bigger place so hopefully that happens sooner then later so we can have all the hype under one roof. Let me know if you guys have any questions. Look forward to see you guys. (also for those not familiar with the layout around TGZ there is a donut place, a hot dog place, domino's pizza, a hummus place, and a really cheap sandwich shop that is also really good all in the same plaza as well as a circle K on the corner of the plaza. Denny's and McDonalds is across the street with a filiberto's as well).
  15. So the Killer Instinct community got together and wanted to welcome Guilty Gear to the TGZ ranbats. So in honor of that. The Killer Instinct community has added a 60 dollar pot bonus to the first Guilty Gear tourney on the 28th at TGZ. Here is the event link guys. I hope to see you guys come out hungry. Can't wait to see you guys go hard! https://www.facebook.com/events/802667109803163/
