Using the route xlolxlolx posted above should yield higher damage for using meter, since it does like 300 less without use of any. 2D FC xx whiff 214A, jB, 2B(1), 5C, 2C, 2D xx 236C/D, 5AA, 5B(1), 2B, 2AB, 214B, 4B, DP, jDP does like 4200.

When it would fail on the Sho's and Yukiko, it would generally not reach them, and a microdash into 2A is kinda inconceivable to perform there. On Kanji, he just always seemed to hit the ground fast, and I mean, he is logically the heaviest character, so it's not surprising.

I was doing some testing with the 214B, 4B, 4AB, 2A route, and I was unable to execute it on Sho/Minazuki, Yukiko and Kanji. I'm not discounting the chance that I'm shit, but at the same time, on characters that I was able to do it to, I was doing it pretty consistently. Does anyone else have any insight on this?

If you're referring to his Ashura super, you can also 360A after the flash.

I was able to do it off 5C, but off 5B it just wasn't happening for me. It was tight as hell off 5C, so the slight amount of additional time from 5B was making it impossible for me. I'll get the damage off 5C later today.

Can anyone tell me what the best close B or C starter combos that end in GF? I've tried things like: 5B, 5C, 6A, 2C xx A Sledge, 3C xx Atomic Collider Whiff, 5C, 6B, hjC, hjB, hjC, 2C xx GF But I've had little success and I don't know if it's optimal anyway.

I definitely have way more faith in 1.1 Tager than I did a few weeks ago. I guess the 2D buff and nerfs to other characters have made him no less competitive than he was before. That's my observation and I admit to rose colored glasses.

I recommend testing against Kagura's [4]1236C super (1+1f) and Hakumen's 5D (6f), those are the fastest things I can think of. Hell, you can test against GETB to see if it beats your safejump, as it's invuln may make it do so.
