I don't use 2HS as much as I did in Accent Core and haven't fully tested it in GGXrd, but here's some stuff I know will work: CH 2HS> 6H> 214K,P (Anywhere) CH 2HS> 6H> 214P,S> c.S> j.SKD> j.2K> j.PD (Corner) CH 2HS> 6H> 214P,S> c.S> j.SKD> j.2K> j.PK> jc.KD (Corner) CH 2HS> 6H> 214P,K> 236236H> 6H> 214P,P (Corner) CH 2HS> 6H> 214P,K> 236236H> 5H> j.SHD (Corner) CH 2HS> 6H> 236K> c.S> j.PKD> j.2K> j.PD (Faust/Mid-screen) CH 2HS> 6H> 236K> c.S> j.D> jc.KSHD> j.2K> j.PD (Faust/Mid-screen) And for non-counter 2HS in the corner: 2HS> c.S> j.SKD> j.2K> j.K> jc.SHD *EDIT: The two combos listed for Faust may not be limited to him only
  2. Depends where you are when CH 2HS hits. What are you looking for? Full-screen? Mid-screen? Corner? All of them? haha
  3. CH It's Late corner combo vs. Faust: CH It's Late> 6H> 214P,K> 6H> 214K,K> 5H> j.D> jc.KD for 261
  4. Loli-Zero and The_undercover_beret: Thank you both. I decided to grind out the j.HSD> j.2K after CH It's Late on Zato after I got home from work. My timing just sucked.
  5. Well to refrain, it's 231 on Sol at full-health. Who is a 1.0 defense character. And with FD against Under-Pressure. It could just be my timing on j.SHD> j.K on Zato that's making me go for j.SKD> j.K instead. I've never experienced any issues against him either. As for Faust....Yes.
  6. I'm pretty sure this does more than 226 on Sol at full health. Maybe not by much, but it's more in the 230+ range. And depending if Under-Pressure either whiffs or is blocked before CH It's Late, the damage should be around 250+ at the least. Aside from the damage, this combo route also works on just about the entire cast...which makes it his best meterless corner option after landing a CH It's Late. Everyone should be running this route. At least IMO. Substitute j.SHD> j.2K with j.SKD> j.2K on Faust and Zato-1 and you're set. j.PK> jc.KD can be swapped with j.PK> jc.HSD on Faust as well for some extra damage. But guaranteeing an untechable knockdown after jc.HSD can be a little finicky.
  7. The damage on those two Pilebunker combos got me pretty hyped. Even if they do require an increased RISC gauge for the damage.

On another note, possible max damage 5B > 5C> OD mid-screen combo at 50% Health and no meter?: 5B > 5C > OD cancel > 5C > 2D DC > 5C > 5D(1) > 214B > 214D > 6B > 236D DC > 3C > 22C > 236D > 623D > 236C > 214D = 5350 damage/36 Heat Gain I guess OD 236D and regular 236D doesn't register as "Same Attack Combo" for some reason. Yeah, that's news to me...

  10. Thanks. I was using this combo for a while, but I was having problems with the 2C > 5C after 236D against some characters. Maybe I just need to get accustomed to delaying 5C more in CP...
  11. I'm talking about after BE. Such as: j.C > BE > 5B or 5C > 5D(1) > 214A > 5B> 5D> 623D > 236C > 214D I've only been able to prevent Ragna from crossing-up and connect the 5B> 5D> 623D > 236C > 214D part by starting with 2B before 5B.

At start-of-round location you could go for: 5B > 5C > OD > 5C> 2D DC > 5C > 5D(1) > 214A > 5B > Delay 5C > j.C > jc.C > 214C > 5C > 5D > 22C > 623D > 236C > 214D for almost 4.8K Anybody have tips for consistently connecting 5B > 5D > 623D > etc. after using 5B > 5D(1) > 214A in the corner? I end up crossing-up the opponent most of the time instead of it connecting. This makes me wonder if it's my actual timing, or Ragna's positioning after 214A in the corner. I've been using 2B > 5B > 5D > 623D > 236C > 214D instead. It's been consistent against all the characters I've come across so far, but I'm not really sure how much damage I'm sacrificing by adding 2B in there.

  14. I find the timing for 5B>5C or linking attacks in general after 5B>5C>JCOD pretty strict. The most I've been able to net from 6C is 6400 at around 30-40% health. Altogether, his OD damage still kinda makes me shrug when compared to his Blood Kain damage with Extend Ragna. Sigh...

  17. Can anybody explain to me how people are cancelling from 5B,5C and 5B,5C,6C into overdrive, and NOT getting an overdrive cancel penalty to the OD Gauge? I've seen it in a few videos now. And the players aren't using RC either?...
