Goro did 5CC > New move as a string, if there's no holes, that's going to be flat out broken because the pushblock and it's recovery looks good. From the looks of it you can't use a normal movement in the middle of as a punish, so I'm betting the move is a free frametrap. I've also had seen 5D lvl2 > New move in another video and the enemy couldn't just jump to avoid it. Routes are nerfed but that was something every character got in this edition, Makoto has a normal damage with the usual confirms and the more rare ones look painful (2C, New Move, Counters) but also Goro did something interesting in it's video, maybe we will need to learn to use OD for pressure this time, since maybe damage isn't as high as before unless we get something like 2D, 2C, New Move, Counters... as starters. We literally got a TEKKEN medium attack that is a special move, and our G level Drive is special cancelable, we could make them have FEAR after a Neutral OD, maybe combine it with orb oki, now that it looks like it will be somewhat doable without losing 700 points of damage along.(after any Cosmic Ray basically) I mean, doesn't this game's OD recharge reeeeaaally fast? it could work as a way to get the last ~30% on rival HP down in each round. Kinda like how Hazama can do that because the snake's hitstun while in OD is ridiculous so he gets free pressure in BBCP [maybe next rebalance we could get a drain field too ]. -

What if the comet wins against most of the non multihit projectiles? Could it be so good now that the entire movement is 200% Faster & Bigger? I can feel you, I played Mu-12 as a side character since CS2 and in CPextend I don't even want to play her anymore... I don't even want to play Kagura CF either, it's not fun if he can't do 5K BnBs unless he's really faster. Anyways, I'm panicking about Shooting start no wallsticking, because now it's only use will be OD combos after being used in the 90% of the combos since CP 1.0, that's a jerk change. ... Dissapointed, a lot. I hope those changes are an error. This can't be happening. I must be having a bad dream. or a joke. If not: A character so bad that almost no one plays, gets some buffs and lots of nerfs instead of only buffs? we will probably can use 2D(2) to 236D but that won't work on midscreen at all. j.D wallbounces? it could potentially kill orb Oki. unless it wallbounces only on midscreen (but that wouldn't make sense) Was really orb oki that OP? Really Arc System Works? I have slight hope this shit is a mess up of the translator. I also hope that if this changes are real, after the loketest they reconsider what the fuck they are doing to her, because loketest is only a "TEST" of new changes. Her combo options in 1.0 were almost perfect, she doesn't need to be touched at all in that subject. -
I use for throws in Midscreen: Throw > 214A~A > 5B > 6A > 2D(3) > 2C > 214A~A > 5CC > j.5CB > j.5CC > 623C~D= 3123 (5B timing is more difficult on small characters doing it wrong makes the 2D(3) whiff, 5CC needs to be changed to 5B > 6B at least on Noel) It worked since the beginning of the game I'm glad it's still viable

Anything involving j5B or j5B > j5D lvl3 is tighter or doesn't work with the usual way. the combos ending on Corona upper, usually work unless you use too much j5B at the end. But since all the decent combos usually work with j5B near the end... everything needs to be done faster. They have should have made j5D lvl3 faster. But even so they should just have buffed her, like all the characters on her tier that got buffs as she stayed behind. -

I'm just thinking of doing 6B at the end of a combo for pressure, Because normally it's expected that most people tech in the first moment they can, and that leaves them in the air ready to get a delayed 5C or maybe a 6A, and if they don't tech, theorically, it's possible to extend the combo a little, but since it's so fucking difficult to land j5D on a decent combo It's probably better stick to Orb oki. -

I touched a little the OD and I don't see it's really changed (this Is what I feared the most), only change I have tried is that confirming (airborne enemy) 6A > JC > j5B/OD is tighter (I think it's fair because it deals more than 6500 of damage). But for oki combo I discovered this: 5B > 6C > 214A~C > 236D > 66 > 6A > 2D > 2C > 214A~A > 6A > HJC > j5B > j5D= 36XX (it's near 3700) The last part is really tight, I hate this patch, I mean, Makoto has enough problems to outplay a lot of characters at neutral and now her combos gets more difficult (and he loses some good ones), It's not a coincidence some japanese players dropped her, they are sick of this shit. I think she isn't bad but the problem is that characters like CARL, VALKEN have gotten buffs, and other characters that were at Makoto level got buffs, but she only got a slap in the face and fake candys (j5B > j5D doesn't compensate a shit, but I'm glad we have this if not that would have been true despair even for me). I would send a letter/e-mail/telegram/smokesignals to ArcSys to stop nerfing her, but I'm afraid that they might nerf her even more because of that... even while being respectful in the message. I still have to experiment a lot. Also going for maximum damage doesn't look really bad from what I tried, but the oki combo damage seems fucked to me, but gladly it's still possible going for it. -

I'm actually at ~45% and she isn't that time comedic, at least it isn't a cheap comedy "Hey look how stupid she is", it's more like she's too relaxed to be a fugitive at all and she acts too easygoing most of the time, but I actually think that she's really worried (or at least more serious) on the inside even with that attitude, she's a heavy support character for a lot of people and finally she has at least one really important moment in the story. But yes, some of the characters are in the story just for the sake of it, but I think it's better than not seeing them at all. -

^This, If we're talking about boobs, Litchi's probably floppy. But Makoto's boobs looks firm and "youthful" Anyways I play her because personality and because her combos felt comfortable to me, if only it was about superficial tastes I would have mained Platinum... I even tried back in the day but I never understood her combos. j.2C is useful in Makoto mirrors, because it beats our anti air options on wake-up, even when is done too soon, the margin to AA the j.2C is really tight. It feels to me like they only Tested Makoto's attacks against herself, but they tested her combos on Azrael. -

I can confirm that if someone jumps infront of you and you're in the corner, using a 3C can get you out quick (If he predicts the 3C it will not, but usually he can't punish you effectively, it's more usual that you have the time to block or that he can't confirm a combo, but the key is to not abuse that option), that's the only use I think it's the most useful and less risky, because most aerials aren't big enough, but characters like Valkenhayn, Hakumen and puppetteers makes that option really risky by default. If your last time you played Makoto was Extend you will be happy with CP even if it is 1.1. I don't really think she's bad in 1.0 it's only that the matchups against top tier are heavily one-sided if the levels of the players are about the same. and I heard (in this thread, correct me if mistaken, didn't checked their changes) the top tiers chars are getting great nerfs in 1.1. So we probably will have a softer time playing against them. -

If it's your actual signature it's like a perfect joke about nerfs. think like if it was a saiyajin tail... Also, about those 1.1 changes, I can stand anything that isn't returning to Extend like tier. I started playing her seriously in Extend and now in BBCP I could feel why it was so suffering to win. I really appreciate the improvements. But seriously ArcSys (or the person who manages the balancing), she's in the point of there's no need to nerf anything of her, that's beating the dead horse, you had enough fun with that in Extend. I hope they don't touch lessen her damage anymore in the future, that's what I like the most about her fighting style. -

Those changes are too neutral, I wanted some noticeable buffs, maybe buffing some prorates or making something faster. I'm confused. I'm sure that 6B ground bounce can be a really good change, but I don't think it will help her in what she lacks, or against her worst matchups. About CT no one's probably going to notice it. But, I'm afraid of the jB change, I hope it's barely noticeable. Also, what Ragnarok_F4 says is true, She isn't bad, she is mid that's a progress from Extend. I think the problem is that top tiers have too many tools agaisnt everyone and we have too few against them.
