Nice! Seems like she came out pretty good, save for the damage nerf on SB Critical Shot, but both she and her Shadow version are looking pretty great now, so I'm happy!

Here are Sho's patch notes for the upcoming 1.1 update: 5A Increased recovery 5D and j.D With 2D you can cancel them from Flash Fang (Senga), Soaring Fang (Shouga) and High-Speed Movement j.D Landing recovery has been decreased (yay!) Survival Knife Afterimage of the knife has been altered so the knife is now easier to see. Soaring Fang (Shouga) SB version's invincibility has been delayed Moon Smasher (Getsumen Kudaki) Minimum damage has been increased If his frame data in the Wiki so I can sink my teeth into these? Because all in all, it seems like he came out pretty good for the most part.

I can't analyze these fully without his frame data, but other than the change to Survival Knife, which they also gave to regular Sho, and seems more like a visual thing as opposed to an actual nerf, and the loss of Fatal Counters on his Command Grabs, no longer being able to Jump Cancel 2C, and his not jab no longer being plus? Did they just buff MINAZUKI and regular Sho?

Luminos is right on this one, Shoryusatsu. If ANYONE can be dubbed P4A's glass cannon, it's our Lizzie, especially with the nerf to Mind Charge giving us back Blue Health to heal up. Also, for what it's worth, Best Buy has completely yanked that description and release date from their website. All it says now is, "This Item Is No Longer Available," and that the item is out of stock, so....

Pretty much what Poultrygeist said. If Capcom can do PW, even though he wasn't exactly viable in UMVC3, I have complete faith that ASW can do Rise and make her as awesome, fun and unique as Sho, MINAZUKI, Yukari and Junpei have been. As for them needing to remake the screen to add more slots, couldn't they just stretch it out a bit, since the four slots are already somewhat visible as seen here? http://i.imigur.com/0fKnUwl.png?1 If so, we could have Adachi and Rise bookending the Minazukis, while Ken and Makoto go beside Yukari and Junepi for the P3 half of the screen. I haven't played P3, so I have no idea what Ken would possibly bring to the table beyond his Spear, but your suggestion of him possibly being Venom-esque Poultrygeist would make me VERY happy, since he's my favorite Guilty Gear character. Someone on GameFAQS suggested that Rise could fight with "mana" and using Weak Points ala Azrael. Whoever she ends up, unless ATLUS has complete control of the roster and movesets, I find her inclusion ironically hilarious after Mori literally laughed off the idea of a playable Celica in his SCR interview with Jyoshua.

Forgive me for potentially stirring the pot here, as I DO agree with Strife on this about low expectations, as I was pretty much just expecting a balance update and nothing more. I know they said 1.1 was dropping in May, but wouldn't it make sense for the Vita version, which is launching with Kagura, Terumi, Kokonoe, and the 1.1 patch straight out of the box on June 24th, which is a little less than three weeks before EVO, some exclusivity to further encourage and incentivise Double Dipping?

Nice to see she's keeping the Diva remix. Now if I can just find a match video where I could hear it. So hyped for her in general, and that's the icing on my cake! I just wish her black color was a full-on Overture color, but maybe that will come later?

Also, the technical name for the Ice Gun is, "Armament No. 3: Absolute Zero v4.32." Sorry to bring down the stream's hype, since nobody likes watching that stupid mirror, and I hate playing it, but when she beats Azrael 7-3, beats Nu 7-3 and she's boned by the Unblockable, beats Noel at least 6-4, if not 7-3, and she needs meter to escape the Unblockable, beats Terumi 7-3, and he's boned by the Unblockable, and beats Relius 7-3 and he's also boned by the Unblockable, I really don't feel like I have any choice when I face her.

I went to bed after my matches were done at about 12:30 A.M. CST Dawn, but they were still in Top 16, so it had to be sometime REALLY early in the morning.

Despite all the craziness, I had a lot of fine, and came a pixel away from pulling out two wins, so I'm proud of myself, especially since I didn't import the game, and thus haven't had it very long! I am NEVER running Kokonoe mirrors at Midnight ever again though! Way too silly for me! And who knows, you might see Noel, Terumi, Relius, or Lambda next time if I feel confident enough in them to bring any of them out.

I figured she was fine, since I've seen DawnHikari and I think even ChosenNinja, use the costume on stream during tournaments, and I remember BrkrDave even making that same joke on UltraChen TV earlier this week, but I didn't know she had access to both until I just randomly found it while I was doing some combos in the lab, and I was like, "Wait, she has Valkyrie Veil back? Let me see if my old CS conforms still work." 8Procedes to kill a jumping Kokonoe with 5C into Astral. 'Well.....crap! Mori be TROLLING this time!" Glad to see I won't be shunned for having an aesthetic preference for a character I've played since I started the series way back in the CS1 days!

Oh wow! Sorry about that DeathTurn. Totally forgot about that place, since I'm new here and don't make it a point to delve into 4chan too often. Now I feel bad, since I don't usually derp this hard. Her referring to Sho and being interested in his "Power Of Solitude," just like she was so interested in Yu for being a carrier of the Wild Card before, DOES make much more sense though! The fact that this just came out now, when the game's been out in the arcades since November was always gnawing at me a bit, and that was why. It seemed so convincing at the time, but them at something that big this early wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. Oh well. Still interested to see her interactions with Sho. Given his bratiness, it could get pretty interesting.

Actually Volt, unless you want me to give you the link to sora364's post on GameFAQS, which just has the two generic quotes and her specific quote to Sho, all of which I've already posted, there is no such link. I tried to put the quotes written in Japanese through Google Translate, but outside of her saying something about bullfighting to Shadow Labrys, and comparing Yukari's Featherman/Power Ranger outfit to some ancient monk, they all seemed really garbled and I couldn't make heads or tails of them, but you guys are welcome to try. As for how sora came upon that, I don't have a GameFAQS account to ask, but I know Flux does.

Looks like I've hit some more paydirt, as someone on GameFAQS found all of Elizabeth's win quotes. GGs to all and it was an enjoyable time as always! Actually getting to be on stream was interesting and a humbling experience. I can't wait to hear the commentary, since I know we've usually got a couple of Liz masters on the mic. I know I've got along way to go though. Once I get my PS3 fixed, and have some time to work off my rust and learn more about the matchup, I wouldn't mind getting a runback with you at some point Zeal. Considering it was New York to Arkansas, we didn't seem to have that bad of a connection, at least not on my end anyway.
