Ruben, you're not thinking. What if you sac reveillark? then you get so much card advantage that losing a turn of attacking is irrelevant! And you get to attack with the crits returned with reveillark! Also it's an instant, so i guess it's not so bad, for 8 mana you can evoke a mulldrifter then sac it to rescue for value!

Even if we did get Robotemkin, I'm still slightly disappointed that eddie didn't possess Potemkin's corpse and ditch that old lame one he was controlling.

The way I read the wording it seems that slow down RC only works for projectiles. This would make a lot of sense to me as a replacement to FRC's because, at least in my opinion, the lack of projectile->followup would be the biggest loss from removing FRC's. Half the non-projectile FRC's just reduced the meter cost for comboing with those moves, which wouldn't be a huge loss as long as the numbers on the move reflect it (which they will). The only thing That will be really missed is moves that you can FRC on whiff for safety or mixup. Basically, It wouldn't surprise me if they removed FRC's for the execution barrier. Also i'm not sure how the slowdown works, but if everything including the projectile slows down and you move at normal speed, you might be able to get a sweet ambiguous crossup with gunflame FRC.

I don't know what either of those are. But yeah I wasn't talking about elementals, I actually played that some last time ruben hosted, its way cooler.

260 retail? i thought it was 160 XP. def not worth buying for me then. It'd be cheaper to buy the few things I still don't have from it. On the subject of budget, pauper edh! I just ordered my second one. Lets do this. each deck cost me ~15 including 10 cents per basic land ($4 total) to get the art i wanted.

Carlos, teekyuu is the amount of content of both seasons of k-on in about 20 min total. Also if you're worried about tennis, its about 1 min of the total show. Definately worth a watch. Rath, if you're looking for any other recommendations, Katanagatari is probably my favorite anime i've ever seen, I would highly recommend it. FMP is also Fantastic. Maybe I'll check out Monster at some point if I ever feel like starting a long series (I haven't actually looked it up yet, so this is contingent on me thinking it looks interesting). Tho maybe I should do GTO first, i've been hearing people say its great for years and haven't gotten around to it, how long is that one?

Look, anything is better than sitting through 3 hours of tekken again, and if its melee (i'm guessing odds are low) i'll actually enjoy watching it. Also, I'm down for doing an evo trip this year, maybe i'll even play in the persona tourney for the heck of it.
