Okay I probably phrased that a bit awkwardly. Guilty has always been all about its music. A lot of shit in the game is a reference or homage to some song, band, or musical term. The soundtrack was no different, with a lot of the songs being direct ripoffs (let's call them homage) to popular rock/metal songs. It's not so much that "new burly heart is better," but rather "Potemkin doesn't sound like led zeppelin anymore." What I mean is that they're stripping away some of guilty's previous design philosophy in favor of making some kind of new "identity" that players new to the franchise can identify with the series. I'm just worried that they're going to turn guilty into just another blazblue, where the only thing that sets it apart are the characters and the soundtrack by daisuke. I don't t hate the new soundtrack by any means, I just feel like the one thing they should not have fucked with in the game was the mmusical references and now they've gone and made it into something different. It's okay though I'll just download the old soundtrack as DLC when they release it along with the guilty anime bluray set in 2015.

New Guilty music sounds so unfitting. It's probably that I'm just so used to the old style of Guilty but I think they should at least try to keep it a somewhat separate entity from Blaz.

It's definitely more animu-flavored. I can't really say that it's a bad thing when it'll probably bring in a bunch of new players, but it really just doesn't have that same gritty feel that #R had. I do think they really did a good job of fleshing out the characters' personalities, though. I also still can't wrap my head around Bedman. He feels really out of place, though I guess ABA was kinda the same for me at first too.
