It takes a lot longer when Kevin is sitting next to you making you listen to all of the voicing because he reads too slowly. I think you only need to finish a handful of characters to get her - it wasn't hard, just tedious. I think there's also a FF button, and a skip feature for scenes you've already seen. IMO not worth paying money to skip.

Erik, do you mean the master database file? or the scans? you can get the masterbase file with up to m12 here. If you mean the card images, you can get up to m11 and then search for the nph and m12 sets individually.

I've never heard of Cockatrice, but MWS is entirely free for download, and as far as I know it's what most players use. If you don't pay for MWS all it does is make you wait 5-10s before it loads (also lacks the deck analysis feature, which "pro" players don't have to use anyways because they just netdeck). You'll have to put some effort into making it look nice, though. What I mean is you'll also have to download all of the scans for the cards in order to have the pictures show up, otherwise it's just the card text.

I guarantee you that they would figure any of those out immediately if they simply asked me how to get out instead of trying to mash out by themselves. I also guarantee you that any other Arakune that has actually turned on the game for more than an hour to practice will be far less enjoyable to play against. That is to say: losing. Anyone who doesn't have the patience to lose nonstop in order to learn what goes down in GG isn't going to last very long anyways.
