I actually think Pot has a harder time closing space than Jam, as his options are severely limited when they aren't frametrapped and/or guessing. IMO Jam's 2S and fS are way more annoying than her FB puffball, though that move is still all kinds of dumb. Chipp Zanuff for president.

That's a pretty awesome setup, though it wouldn't really have to be Ironman assist would it? Anyone that causes a decent amount of blockstun would probably let you do it. Ruben: adv guarding Round Harvest only pushes back Trish, which is circumvented by tagging in another character. You also can't adv guard assists. Thus his setup is Round Harvest, tag into Viper and charge unblockable and call Ironman assist to keep them in blockstun. The only ways out I can think of are alpha counter or XF into something invulnerable.

Skullgirls has been in development forever. There was stuff going around for it even before SCR, and it doesn't look like its gotten any more appealing since then, either. Anyways, today was fantastic. Dat house, though...

They did actually make an Okami game for the DS a while ago but it had nothing to do with the original, so I didn't really look into it. The problem with trying to convert people I see at cons is that they're super-casual with no intention of becoming otherwise. They're not interested in playing GG/BB for the actual gameplay - they're in it for the anime influence/characters. That being said, I don't see how beating the crap out of that sort of player is supposed to recruit them, either. Like Ray said, if anyone were actually interested/serious about being competitive, they probably would've already found this place by now. I remember telling a handful of people I met at Saboten about our group, exactly where/when we meet, and a lot of them were even living in Tempe/Mesa. I've yet to hear back from them. In the end, I only go to cons to make myself look gdlk. It's sad, but people nowadays are only interested in fighting games that don't take time to pick up. Nobody wants to invest in a year of nonstop losing before they can start winning.

I'm going to go tomorrow, so whether or not there's a tourney won't affect how much mvc will be there. *Marco says maybe we can do a tourney both this week AND next...
