Hell yeah I'm looking forward to P4U, but I'll probably treat it like any other fighter. I definitely want to go to ASU on Monday, and Dan sadly I don't think anything is happening today, at least not for me. Marq, I think you're being too hard on yourself about KOF 13, if you're trying to be somebody that can do a full life HD combo in the corner off of some random hit confirm then stop trying so hard, none of us can do it and I don't think you'll see any of us accomplishing it anytime soon. It's just a really FUNdamental game and all you gotta do are the short sweet combos, if you enjoy playing it then just play it, nobody is expecting you to be the next Ogawa of KOF. I'll probably bring my Xbox and KOF to PCP on Monday, if somebody can lug a xbox stick over that would be great so I don't have to bring 2.

Tubazo, blame the huge influx of fighting games we've had over the past couple of years. Honestly part of the reason why GG was so big was because it was unique for it's time, and there weren't that many other options for good fighters. Now everything is a fighting game, and for people who love the genre like me, we end up playing all of them, and therefore lose the focus on that one game that started it all. For me personally, I literally can't help it, I want to play BB in tourneys and get really good at it, but then another game comes and and I go all ADD on that shit. A larger pool of games is going to dilute the scene for each individual one, problem is that the GG/BB scene wasn't big enough in the first place to survive. Of course that doesn't mean that we'll never play it again, I love BB and it's still my favorite fighter and I'll definitely be playing BBCS+. Another issue is that the most enthusiastic of us that started the GG DL scene have gotten older and can't put as much as time into this stuff as we used to, we're graduating, moving, making relationships, and starting careers. I wish very strongly that someday soon there will be that new generation of young adults that can revive the scene for those who want it, but for now I'll keep having people over to play and for those who wish to play competitively to give them the best practice that we can. As an addendum, I know the SRK scene is exploding right now with the work that Hazem is putting in at the moment, but someday take a look at the demographic that regulars SRK over the people that you know here. Not to say anything negative, there are a lot of cool guys over there. PS. I think Atlus is a company full of trolls, I found out today that Rise wasn't a playable char in P4 but the bear was, which means that although they knew at least 50% of the customer base would want to play that slutty idol in the game, they said "trollololololololol" you can play this annoying bear instead. And they're making the same mistake in dat fighting game.

Forget my last post about tonight, just hang out on Friday, it'll be the last time I'll be able to host for the rest of this month. Raul, my mom and sister are arriving on Saturday so I can't host for the rest of the month until they leave.

That..... sucks..... Just in time for finals eh? By the way if anybody isn't going to be studying today and wants to play games at my place feel free, I was going to host for my last time on Friday but I might go to the KOF tourney at UAT if others go with me.

I swear to god there needs to be gloves that are really thin that have some kind of space age built in heating for gamers who's hands are freezing cold in the winter whilst playing games. TL;DR: My hands are freezing.

Yeah combos in this game are kinda hard. I doubt the system matters, I got it for Xbox to diversify what my consoles can be used for even further. Also Jimmy, no. I'm not going to make anything for Thanksgiving after all, not enough reason to do so.
