Yeah Mehraj I know the Loketest got rid of it but that was for the big balance patch that's coming out later this year, I'm talking about this small hotfix patch that's coming out with Valkenhayn. For anyone who didn't see this already, apparently there's a small patch coming out with Valkenhayn...... most of it is just glitch fixing but I couldn't help noticing what I've bolded in the list: System changes & bug fixes * Trophy/Acheivement update w/ Valk DLC * Faster matching speed in Ranked Matches * Fixed a problem where some effects didn’t disappear, which made the game have to process more info. * On Kagatsuchi Port (Rain) stage, fixed a problem where an environmental sound effect didn’t play correctly * Fixed a problem where under certain circumstances if you choose Makoto in Player Matches the character select screen glitched. * Fixed a problem in training mode where sound effects may not stop under certain conditions. * Game now autosaves after completing each mission in challenge mode, you no longer have to go back to the main menu to save progress for that. * Now when clearing score attack, your final score is displayed (this wasn’t done before? never played score attack) * Fixed the problem where in Legion mode DLC character portrait icons appeared, even though they’re unusable in Legion mode. * In network mode it remembers the last character you chose, and defaults to them. * On network mode results after matches, “Used character PSR” and “Top PSR” information is displayed. * Fixed a problem where in Ranked Matches / Quick Match the matching system would lock up and not advance. * When training in ranked / player matches, on the character select screen you can now hit select/back to return to the room. * Fixed some typos. Whoa.... I gotta see those match vids when they come out on DVD. Ray, I implore you to wait a month for GW2, seriously. Not only that, in order to know which password I used for the game I'd have to download it and install it again to attempt to log in repeatedly until I found my password. Also when I quit, to further aid my oath of not playing, I gave away everything I had to the guild I was in, so you wouldn't have a lot to work with. So yeah, better off waiting a month. Where are you guys finding the SBO placings? I couldn't navigate around the Tougeki site very well....

Most of the time M19, a PS2 stick will be fine because you can just use a PS2 -> PS3 converter which are balls cheap, and you've covered the two most important consoles for fighting games, only problem is that a lot of places that hold tourneys (and I don't JUST mean AIAB) use xbox 360's. But you can usually borrow someone else's.

I heard arcade in a box is selling off all it's stuff after the ssf4 tourney, maybe you can grab one from them at a good price. Also the usual: Ebay, Amazon, etc. Might have good deals

I'm guessing that Ragna's 3C being techable means it's just more techable, maybe you're not allowed to hit confirm as many times before a 3C in order to pick it up now kinda like Jin, Mu, and Hazama. I'm glad they buffed Rachel a bit but I don't wanna see any CT nonsense again, I really hope she stays at best mid tier.

Hey, but it's not Jump Cancelable, thank god in heaven. So overall I like the chages, although there's some things I do disagree on, like the Tao changes. I think the Carl nerf was interesting, but reasonable and Makoto: Obvious, Litchi and Bang, yay, of course they didn't mention a damn thing about Bang's 5a, but, if they nerfed 5b then I guess it's enough along with all the other nonsense. Like Mehraj said, you note the amount of changes for Rachel and you can tell she needed work but Tsubaki had almost just as many. I do like the changes on Tsubaki but it seems like they're making it so that she doesn't have to spend half her game pushing the opponent away to get meter, it looks like she can spend more time on oki now. If 236A doesn't have any valid followups after a combo then you'll always end up right next to your opponent so thank god you get a meter instantly. Also the lack of float on the 214 moves is a moot point since you can't combo into them out of a throw anymore, but I like how they made her already terrible DP worse, whatever.. another moot point. I my thoughts in a nutshell: I'm fucking excited.

She'd better retain her separate personalities at least, of course although this is based off of almost nothing, I sadly don't think that a pink haired loli with a rod could play anything like Zappa. Mmmmm, well I have to leave now so I don't have time to talk too much about the Mu-Lambda matchup but I just wanna throw out the fact that Lambda does have a reversal, which is the gravity well, and she doesn't need to set stuff up in order to zone well, also she can get decent damage off of almost anything whereas Mu has to fish for certain moves, and even if she gets those her steins need to be setup properly beforehand in order to get decent damage off, assuming you didn't get a counter hit J.2C or 6C. Also Lambda's normals aren't THAT far off from Mu's in terms of effectiveness, I know for a fact that Lambda's 3c beats Mu's all day and her 6a is probably better. I'm just saying the match-up between those two is probably even.
