I have a couple questions. Posting from my phone at work while I'm on break because I haven't had a chance to do any planning today: 1) Is there going to be a tourney for +R? 2) Are there any nearby hotels close to GamePazzo still vacant? 3) Is there anyone able and/or willing to house me next Thursday in Chicago? Preferably close to GamePazzo or surrounding hotels/areas Any help much appreciated!

- Rekkas always give knockdown - Stupid mixup ability with demon flip move (both dive kick and slide can hit on the other side) - Sidestep that dodges practically everything (at least physical hits); can follow up with overhead, hopkick that moves backwards, or low sweep - Pisses meter (EX Up-kicks corner loop, EX-rekkas that can lead into knockdown or EX Up-kicks loop) - Has a reversal (Up-kicks) - Max Mode (don't know actual name) combo that can be confirmed off of anything for an easy 90% I agree wholeheartedly Dear Kagari, Don't ever use Izuna Otoshi. Just for those of you who don't know already, AH2 has a confirmed PS2 release: http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b363/jazzking2001/1228272687499.jpg Although the scan is blurry, the blue box at the bottom right hand corner states that Sugoi! is planned on being released on PS2. It's cool. If I hadn't of been such a terrible player, it wouldn't of been so bad of a loss. Would you mind doing some casuals with me Sabin? I could use any pointers you may have for me. I haven't taken this news to SRK yet, but I'm seriously thinking of dropping Lilica. I'll let her be HeartNana'a territory. I'm currently struggling with easy characters too (Heart, Saki). I'm doing ok with Mei-Fang, but I haven't been able to complete her ground IAD combo past 20 hits before dropping the combo. I'm going to take Nana's advice and just stick to a character that my execution can handle. *resumes training*

What I should be asking is "Will you not put me up against Justin Wong in my first match of the tourney like you did at SB II?" lol I'll make an appearnece at FRXI, once again repping Columbus in AH. Unlike last time, I'll be using the character in my av (Lilica).

The only differences during play are the words 'Guard Cancel' do not flash on the screen like the other versions. The training mode is superior to all other versions, and allows for recording and playback of the training dummy's actions. For practicing setups and other single player training, this version is the best, even better than the pure Neo-Geo versions. The Dreamcast version is the worst of all possible versions. It offers nothing over the Neo-Geo versions other than the unlockable image gallery and the arranged soundtrack mode. Inputs are delayed, and some versions show problems with sound effects delaying as much as 2 seconds from when they should play. If possible, select the original soundtrack option instead of the arranged soundtrack, and play on the original GD-ROM to lessen these effects. Even with these adjustments, this is the worst option for play; even playing on an emulator will be more satisfying. " I also heard from someone that the Dreamcast version actually damaged the lens or something like that. Who knows, who cares? Just stick with the PS2 version I say.

Well, you've definitely hit the nail on the head with the possibilities in this game:) Your best bet is reading the wiki on the guardcrush site: http://www.guardcrush.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page This, and talking to people at SRK are what got me started. And don't get discouraged about learning the game. I've been playing since the day of the PS2 release and I still suck at the game:gonk: That's just because I'm a slow learner though. The guardcrush site should help you get on your feet.

They should put Etna or Flonne as secret boss characters for AH2 Disgaea is a super popular niche game that came up from practically nothing. I found out about it from a friend back in high school in 2003, the same year as the US release. The same thing kinda happened with Arcana. My friend told me about the title back in Feb. last year...once I watched the first YT vid, I was hooked. But I was agonizing over the fact that I couldn't play the game, like this:psyduck: Then I heard of a PS2 port:yaaay: I noticed a plethora of typos in my last post. Jeez........

I'm mad I paid as much as I did for this game......oh well. At least I got the AH stick too (which was pricy as well). Just be patient as for the shipping....I'm currently waiting on my copy of Disgaea 3, which shipped out on the 31st last month. But thanks top this snow, it may take a little longer..... The plant Arcana sucks. Period. Of course, you can use whatever you want, seeing as the game doesn't prevent you from using the plant Arcana on the Arcana select screen due to it statistically the worst Arcana in the game.
