Too many people in HK that never moved on. I personally like RVZ2,GVGN and Zeta DX over the EXVS engine. But I still try to at least learn the game except for lost cause like vanilla GVG and EXVS, those two games are obvious beta tests lol. Sadly for Canadian arcades, we stopped importing Gundam after GVGN. While HK gets the new Gundam but doesn't seem like they appreciate it.

I haven't found any RVZ2 in HK that's more than a dollar. X-Land is the one on the 4th floor of Tsuen Wan's City Landmark Mall. For sure afternoon is quieter than evenings. As for the 1v1 situations, I just don't understand. I live in Vancouver where arcade Gundam used to cost 1 dollar = 7HKD so that's never really bothered me XD. I'm sure when Maxi boost hits console or the new episode of Gundam vs is released, the price will drop.

Yeah I guess it just depends on different locations, Tsuen Wan X-land seems perfect for me since there are 24 RVZ2 cabinets with constant challengers. I went to GameZone and Smart Game in MK as well, seems like Hongers prefer 1v1 unless they had a designated partner? They definitely have a larger MB community compared to Tsuen Wan though.

Went to Tsuen Wan to play some Rengou vs Zaft II the other day, seems like the Maxi Boost community is kinda dead.

Are all the best Gundam players in HK still playing Rengou vs Zaft 2? I remember the legit strong ones were usually middle aged men in suits and briefcases after work or something. Too bad they never moved on to GVGN. I'm guessing the current MAXI Boost players in HK are mostly the gangster wannabes looking to stir shit up?
