While I do like Shinji and Ken, most people have played the dub that differs a bit in this scene from the original version. Shinjiro wanted to die if he didn't he wouldn't have taken those pills which he knew were killing him nor would he have met up with Ken or took a bullet for him. While they did meet up Ken didn't want to kill Shinjiro anymore but Revolver Jesus came out of nowhere to put a bullet into the both of them. Ken did nothing wrong, and most people think Shinjiro is the 'best character' (despite him being with you only for a short time.) from his route of p3p and where more of his soft side is shown, but it's also shown in the video recordings in the game and in the drama CDs. There recently seemed to be boom of hatred for Ken, before he was just 'there' now it's just all over. The kid was sorry had his regrets and grew.
Also, Persona 3's theme is Death with the tagline 'Memento Mori' so...
Anyway I look forward to trying out Ken/Koro and Yukari, they look fun.
