  2. If I not mistaken, the quality mode is mainly for the story mode since it's just a movie and you want make sure the graphics are on point.

  5. I agree with you about how the game looks but let's be honest, the game runs on Unreal Engine 3. The same engine as MK 9 and Injustice, which both runs at 60 fps (Injustice stage transitions is at 30 fps but since you don't control the characters during that it's not a big deal.) I'm not trying to say that you're wrong but you are making a bold statement about a series known for it's speedy yet smooth gameplay, a company known for having what was previously said type of games, and a genre that is based the success of a game on how fluid the action is.
  6. I got to ask, why do people think that Xrd cant completely run at 60 fps on the PS3? I mean did I miss a memo of the other fighting games on the PS3 not able to run at 60 fps?
  7. I think watered down isnt the term you are looking for, instead it should be shortcut. When people use the term watered down, usually it means that the game intentionally from the get go make things easily for people who cant get a hang with the mechanics of the previous iterations. While a shortcut deals with an advantage that someone has found, as long as the requirements that is needed are followed. I dont think that OS burst bait is put inside the game on purpose, but since it's useful, people are going to take advantage of it and will be another thing people that will be taking this game serious should keep that in mind.

  10. Comparing iterations of a game to actual sequels was one, especially since most 2d fighters that have done a complete sequel have less characters in their first iteration than the previous games that was on their final iteration.
  11. Hey guys. I'm a long time lurker, first time poster on Dustloop and I'm excited for Xrd. I was wondering with the different button layouts given in the character select screen on the arcades, will Xrd have a button configuration option in the character select screen on consoles?
