There's definitely frame drops on the PS3 version, Specifically during Echika's Level 3 (the last part with the gun). This also happens from time to time on the character select screen for Story Mode (hasn't happened to me yet in Versus for whatever reason). Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah I figured all those characters you listed were up there just because of their range and being able to whiff punish anything. I've wondered about Altina as well. She's definitely the type of character I'd play, but nobody plays her so I have no idea what good Altina is supposed to look like. Maybe we'll see something at the D-1 tournament.

Yeah it seems hard to find solid info on this game so I think most people will be going in relatively blind. Which is fine since I don't think people will take this game super seriously. And no online pretty much makes it another Chaos Code. I'll still give it a shot though.

Was torn between getting Koihime Enbu or this, but since Koihime got pushed back ill prolly be picking this game up when it comes out later this month. Wondering if there is a tier list from japanese players floating around somewhere. I know a new patch just came out and all, i just don't know how different the changes are from the previous version. I see a lot of Pairon, Rage and Urayukihime in vids

IMO, the chip on the C normals is whatever. It's not like she was winning games left and right with just chip. Most of the time I'd see 5C it would be to bait out a guard cancel or set up assist-cancelled pressure. The change to the airdash and airtech means (understanding it properly) the changes to her jump normals don't really mean anything since the button will come out earlier in the airdash/airtech? Not 100% on that. The dropkick change should mean more damage (wtf) and her chainsaw AA combo ender move dropping less in combos. Increased range on recovery on her throw super is always good news. I don't know, she seems pretty good to me at the moment. Very straightforward, good buttons, easy confirm into her level 3. She seems like a bulldog kind of character. Has a hard time getting in on some characters, but once she gets in it's hard to get away from her.

I had a feeling Echika's slide was going to get nerfed before console release. The cheese was too strong I guess. Everything else looks good though. One more month...

I was watching the stream last night, really like how fast she is, those air dropkick corner carrys and the people's elbow :P Also gotta love the day 1 roll into command throw cheese. I wonder how fast her grabs actually are.

Hmm...maybe i'm not watching the right videos then lol. Most of the videos i've watched have a lot of Ein and Al winning, but maybe that's because they are easier to use than the others. I'm sure Igniz probably has some nasty stuff, I just haven't seen it. I agree with Saya not being up there because of her floaty jump maybe not having as good of pressure as everyone else? Just giving my two cents.

IMO i'd have to say Ein, Al and Anna are the better characters in the game, but not necessarily in that order. Ein and Anna seem to have the most screen control with Al just being really fast and having good buttons. But now with Saber in the game she's definitely up there as well.
