Also, cuz I'm too lazy to look back through the thread, the crucifix's are very similar to in P3, and we all remember why they were there right? because of that and all the info about "that man" I'm leading towards involvment from him. While i could be wrong the evidence does point towards such a conclusion.

Just putting out my opinion, but I doubt nyarlathotep is going to have any feasible presence in the game. They toned down philemons presence in P3 to 1 butterfly at the beginning and in P4 to save points, why would they suddenly bring the 2 back? I get that a lot of people want to see him return as series villain but it just seems unlikely. When they released P3 they distanced it pretty heavily from the previous games. Yes there are mentions but I think its largely to please the fans, nothing else.
