Ah, thanks for the answers. I hope to fight some of you when I get the game, I'm planning on getting Xrd around the same the same time so this will likely be a secondary game, but I'll probably be on a lot during the weekends.

Planning on getting this next month and I have a few questions.... 1.How is the netplay? Is it still active? Are there a decent amount of American players so that I'm not stuck fighting a bunch of Japanese players that I have an awful connection with? 2.If this was asked before or already answered, I apologize, but is there a challenge mode or anything? A considering Dustloop has no combo threads for this game, it'd be nice. 3.Just HOW bad is Shizuo? I heard he's bad, but like how bad? I'm planning on maining him, so I'm interested to know what im getting myself into. 4.Would Play Asia be the best site to import from? I usually just use a random Amazon seller, but after the last few imports I've bought taking 2 months+ to get here, I think I should switch. 5. We probably are never getting a U.S release, right?

GGs RookRuined's room last night. I may have gotten straight up bodied by Rook's Arakune, but I learned a lot about the Carl matchup from him atleast. Shout outs to Twisted Duck..I mean Dust...and Kyros for being generally awesome people to talk to on mic.

Yes, but I wonder how they'd handle it. It would be rather rude for them to add somebody like Dizzy in as paid DLC. That character has been around for years and many people mained her, so you can imagine the salt and rage huh at would come from old Dizzy mains who would have to pay for her. It is at least some-what acceptable with Leo and El considering that they are completely new and have never been played before....Though, El has been in arcades, so I'm not sure how to feel about that. Really, Arc makes very odd business decisions, but I think it's most likely that we'd get returning characters through either an update like Xrd2 that could add one or two characters or just the next sequel that will hopefully add a good chunk of the old roster.(Well, HOPEFULLY we get a sequel) I mean free DLC is always an option, but I have trouble seeing Arc doing that.

Judging by the new re-arranged character select screen, I think the chance of DLC is pretty slim now atleast until a fairly big update, like a Xrd 2 or something. Btw, what are these "network avatars" you people speak of?

Are there any match vids that show Bishop Run Out used efficiently? I mean it seems interesting, but NOBODY uses it. Come to think of it, I don't even see Dark Angel too much.

Same here, but honestly the more popular characters are likely to get re-introduced first. I kinda would have preferred that they work on the old characters before adding the new ones, but whatever. Btw, does Johnny have an actual in game model for story mode, or just character art?
