  1. I've been watching UNIEL videos these past few days. I'm probably going to pick it up. I've pretty much only played Guilty Gear for the past 10 years or so, and I didn't enjoy BlazBlue very much. I've been looking for a new fighter though that can scratch my itch.

  3. Silly me, I didn't read the move info on the first page. Thanks for the correction. Does it have any redeemable qualities? Untechable after last hit resulting in knockdown? Strong invuln on startup?
  4. I was looking at http://www.twitch.tv/joniosan/b/558677159?t=1h27m50s and trying to think of alternative escapes from the corner that might have worked when he did Hammerfall. He had a burst, and 50% tension to work with, and you didn't have enough for an RC or PRC if he had YRCed the Hammerfall. It makes sense that GV would have been a really risky move. Good matches, thanks for sharing!

  8. I agree, but only because it's random chance. Guilty Gear has it's fair share of random elements in it's character mechanics, but it still seems out of place. I'd be much happier with it if it was an invisible stat that gained with each clash, or if it only activated when high level attacks clashed. I like the fact that it adds a sudden moment where the characters are separated spatially, and rushing back in aggressively is the best way to take advantage of it. My favorite part of Guilty Gear is how it has several mechanics that reward playing aggressively, and this is yet another one. I'm skeptical right now, but my mind might change once I get hands on experience with it.

I wonder if he could have extended the damage a bit more with another Crosswise Heel at the end followed by an air combo instead of ending it with Under Pressure.   11. Long time lurker and GG player here! I just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I've been getting hyped for Xrd, so I've been playing a lot more lately and wanted to get a bit more involved locally. Is the Detroit scene still active for GG? Also, if anyone is interested in playing online, I'd love to have some matches that aren't horribly laggy.
