Technically, Ragna's real main enemy is Terumi, not really Hazama. Terumi did more damage to him than Hazama. But I wonder if Kazuma will come in story mode and be one of the good guys but has a similar personality to Terumi's. Sounds silly I know but could be awesome. Also, quick question. Not sure if its answered before but isn't Hazama able to behave or impersonate Terumi's personality?

I do not wish to spam the thread with "Who would win in a fight" topics. So I think it would be appropriate to discuss those here. In topic, we only discuss these subjects about who would beat who in a fight in Blazblue story mode. This is only for characters who never met or fought within the story or perhaps characters who are not at full potential yet. Don't do fights that has already happened in story mode.

There is one theory I want to share. Does anyone believe Amane could be Izanagi, the japanese god of Life? Think about it. Izanami is kind of emotionless and cold, dead ass serious. Amane is pretty lively, positive, and optimistic. He is hinted to be immortal which is pointed out in Bullet's arcade that he never aged. His astral finish displays turning certain characters into kids or simply make them younger. Youth is a time of a person's life. I know Rachel called him Uzume, the god of dancing but he can do more than dance. He has this odd ability to turn people young. No one knows if he is using magic or ars magus but there is definitely more to this guy than it meets the eye. That is my theory.

If Azrael went all out, pretty damn sure Terumi will get overwhelmed. It is said that Terumi gets stronger by the cauldron. But either way, this is funny. Terumi would win in trolling Azrael.

Yeah it would be. They are so similar in personality in my opinion.

Funny but that is not much of a fight to be honest or a win.

There are three characters who I believe could totally destroy Azrael. The Black Beast- That thing can only be affected by Nox weapons and proper use of Ars Magus. Despite the fact that humanity had Ars Magus, it took decades to beat it. Azrael has none of these things, only pure strength alone. If he was stupid enough to fight the Beast, he will be mince meat. Even Trinity said that it is impossible to fight it alone, meaning there is no one strong enough to take it on. Hakumen- Hakumen looks as if he is the only one in the main cast to go toe-to-toe with Azrael in battle. It was a stalemate in the story because Celica is in the way and Hakumen had to protect her at all costs. We may not know how strong the two are that their prime but the only advantage Hakumen has against Azrael is his sword. If he was at 100%, I bet he could charge Time Killer quickly and it can cut through anything as well as negate healing. He could be that powerful. Rachel did tell Ragna in the story of CP that if 100% Hakumen and Izanami fought, he'll have a hard time. That means that Hakumen could be able to beat her or match her power. And before someone starts scolding me, I said "could", meaning their is a possibility of him defeating her. Yuuki Terumi-I made a Terumi vs. Azrael post days ago but that fight would be totally badass to witness. Terumi is cunning and way smarter than Azrael. He admitted that Rachel and Hakumen could beat him in combat in CS in Ragna's story and since he knows his limits, Terumi will use whatever he can to throw anybody off, including those who are stronger than him. He sure as hell lead Jubei and Hakumen into a trap in the beginning of the Six Heroes story and the trap was leading them next to the Cauldron. Terumi gets stronger when near the Cauldron besides feeding on hatred, Hakumen and Jubei were weakened by the power of the Cauldron and Terumi thrashed the hell out of those two. It is never stated if Terumi has a limit to how much power he can smelt from the Cauldron but if Azrael were near the Cauldron while fighting Terumi, he may get weakened by it. Only a few people can withstand the power of the Cauldron and that is Ragna, Noel, Terumi, and possibly Arakune.

I know he didn't say outright that Azzrael is superhuman. I'm simply speculating on what the hell he is. If Valkenhayn called him human, then I'm under the assumption that Azrael might be superhuman since he has no Nox Nyctores, MAgic, or Ars Magus....just pure strength. I never said Ragna called Azrael superhuman, demon, or anything for the matter.

Ragna did in Azrael's arcade, saying: "ARRRGHH! What the....That power....are you even human?!" In English dub. He questioned Azrael on his species.

Valkenhayn was the only who said it but Ragna questioned on whether or not Azrael is human. However, a majority of the cast are hardly even considered human at all. Ragna is implied to be half vampire. Terumi is implied to be a ghost but its never proved in story mode, its just assumption. Mori is never entirely specific on character species.

Moving on. Does anybody have any guess on Azrael's species? Part of me believes he is Superhuman.

He did in CT. He told Ragna that she is in the far side of the Boundary or something, implying that he might have tossed her body inside the Cauldron.

In Hakumen's CT arcade, He was able to kill or manhandle Nu. Nu and Ragna do have a life link together as stated in CP. However, Ragna can still become the Black Beast without fusing with Nu if his Azure Grimoire goes berserk.

True but Hakumen was using a ordinary sword against the Beast, not a Nox Nyctores since most of us know Ars Magus and Nox weapons can affect/hurt the Black Beast. From Stryker's post, Jin never gotten any info or any sort of practice on the Susano'o Unit's power since Rachel just placed him inside the suit all of a sudden. Since Hakumen has Time Killer, one might wonder if it can possibly kill the Black Beast.

Since we are all talking about Nu: At the end of Blazblue, how do you think everything will end pertaining to the Murakumo Units and Noel? If Saya were to come back, what do you think will happen to the Units and Noel? Also, since no one has seen my other theory lol XD But what is really confusing yet interesting is that since Jin is destined to put an end to Ragna, does that mean that Hakumen/Jin might have the power and ability to handle the Black Beast by himself? I know in one of the novels that Dark War Hakumen lost to Beast but that was before Ars Magus was created as well as Nox Nyctores and it's stated that he was using a normal sword, not Ookami.

They have reasons for being OP. Terumi was OP because of Phenomena Intervention and accessing the true power of the Azure back in CS. Azrael is OP because a majority of characters aren't at their prime and slightly handicapped like Ragna whose arm and right eye is paralyzed. A true OP character would be like nearly impossible to beat. Those two are strong for a reason. Terumi was like that but it's heavily implied in CS that some characters could possibly beat him like Rachel and Hakumen, even Terumi admitted that in his story mode after defeating Ragna. As for Azrael, since no one was able to beat him in battle, Kokonoe only defeated him by ensnaring him into her trap which tells us that Azrael doesn't do well against traps and is pretty reckless. It is not about who is stronger. It's mainly about who has a bigger advantage over the other and as for their origins. Blazblue never showed us much of the characters' origins like Makoto, Relius, Platinum, Tager, etc etc.

I just want to hear people's opinions about who would win in a fight. If you don't mind, please tell me why you think this character has a bigger advantage over the other. I don't really want arguing or conflict. Just intellectual discussion, okay? I wish these two would duke it out in story mode. Both are full of bloodlust in violence. Both are trolls in their unique way. Both are feared by some of the cast. Both give Ragna a hard time. If you ask me, Azrael and Terumi are similar in personality. I am a fan of them both but my money is on Terumi since he is a lot smarter and not has more resources than Azrael.

Question. If this sounds stupid, I apologize. I'm new here XD LOL Alright, does anyone think its possible that Jin could be Hakumen's access card to unleashing the true potential of the Susano'o Unit? Part of me believes in the future that they might combine together into one, pretty much Jin becoming Hakumen himself. I heard that Jin's Power of Order is stronger than Hakumen's.
