I have seen him at Ignite more than GGA. I haven't gotten to come out to Ignite lately because of class, so I didn't know if this was a constant thing there. As far as the changing tournament setups thing goes, I have debated setting up a Parental Control password and setting the filter to the lowest level so you need the password to start up any game. If it is necessary, that's an option. I am not going to do so at the moment, because I am generally in favor of letting people play what they want on my setup, within reason. I don't know of a definite solution, but I would hesitate to get the police involved. If necessary, you can always report it to the venue and let them sort it out how they wish.

No. I wouldn't recommend that. As much as it's annoying, I really wouldn't feel anymore comfortable getting law enforcement involved. I don't think that's necessary. The easiest thing we can do is just play it cool, and keep a hold of our sticks while we're not using them. Also, delete HDR from your setup if you think it's necessary (I don't have it, so I'm okay). He's really not there almost ever in my experience, so I wouldn't take any kind of drastic measures.

Fortunately, we don't tend to see him there very often (this was the first time I have seen him at GGA, actually). Unfortunately, every time I have run into him he has tried to sell me drugs, or in the case of last Friday, a 40. I'm not sure exactly how to handle this situation. I don't think that his presence is majorly detrimental, but it's definitely annoying. I like being able to leave my stick in the room and not having to worry about someone mashing around on it in ST like it's an American cabinet. I wish there was a way I could lock my setup into a certain set of games without having to remove every other game I have stored on it. Last week my setup became a Divekick setup, which confused me a bit. I would say we wait and see if this becomes a consistent issue before anyone tries to take action. Alternatively, we could all switch to Hitbox layouts and never have to worry about it.

Using 6P on Bandit Bringer during it's active frames will almost always result in a clash in my experience, frequently putting you into Danger Time as well. It clashes from almost any angle, including directly behind Sol for some reason. Several times I have YRC'ed an HS Stinger when Sol used Bandit Bringer, ran under and tried to 6P. It results in a clash very consistently. If forced to deal with Bandit Bringer from the front, the easiest option I have found for beating it is either j.P or to Blitz Shield it. If your opponent doesn't expect the Blitz Shield, you can punish with c.S for full combo. If they do have the meter to Blitz Shield you back, I just run up grab.

Will there be any Anime side tournaments at the tournament this Saturday? I know we are running Xrd and UNIEL as the main games, but is anyone planning on running P4AU or BB on the side? I'd be willing to enter P4AU and maybe BB.

I'm sure there will be plenty of setups tomorrow, I wouldn't worry about needing to bring your own, especially if you're worried about bringing it on the Metra.

I'm sure there will be more than just Guilty Gear tomorrow. Callisto is bringing a setup for UNIEL, and I'd be willing to play UNIEL and Persona alongside Guilty Gear as well.

Definitely looking forward to GGA tomorrow. Hopefully we can run a tournament there as well. My Venom is slowly becoming less shitty, I need to work on my Oki and early game zoning. Also, does anyone know how many frames the wakeup reversal window is in this game? It feels very small compared to what I am used to, but I also almost never play characters who have true reversals so I may just not be used to timing reversals on wakeup in general.

For purely selfish reasons, I am in favor of Option 1. I intend on learning Xrd once it comes out, but don't really have any intention of learning AC +R beyond what I know now. I don't speak for the Chicago GG community though, and if they'd appreciate a chance to still play +R alongside XRD, I'd be just fine with Option 2.

Are we still having a weekly at GGA this Friday? I know that Nani Sore is on Saturday, but I'd still be willing to come out on Friday as well for some practice before hand. I've finally recovered from the plague that has been keeping me at home for the past week and need to get some practice in before the Monthly.
