I used to like mu in cp. And didnt like that changes at first myself. But after playing cpex along time. It just works for her. I miss spamming steins a bit but other than that cpex mu is much more fun. The only nerf that i think she didnt deserve was airdash cancelling steins. It kinda hurt her ability to attack and move all at once. I think with the slower startup and range nerfs steins would have balanced. The only thing i see or feel that hurts her nuetral is not being able to opt to safely airdash after placing an aerial stein. Now you always have to challenge with a c normal or block if the opponent is close instead. That is the only thing i wish she would be back. I think people often forget how useful that was. But thing is ussually the risk reward on challenging is in your favor since j2c ch leads to a huge punish

If you look closely he uses 5d before supers. Heta has been playing on twitch streams a lot. And unlike in cpex the setplay is real. He was using ender's like j2c jd j2c oki. that left 2 steins out to fire. And the opponent kept g to jump out but it wasn't happening. But the real interesting thing is that he was using different corner routes against relius the prior day. Either way. I think it's safe to say "this characters a problem". Which is best!! Also new fireball look really good. Though it looks Like it doesn't have much blockstun beta was using it to extend blockstrings. Looks extremely plus. But maybe Japan doesn't like jumping out.

Any advice on arakune. I keep getting rekt by them. But I will say that I hadn't fully understand him until I looked at his dustloop. I knew his clouds gave his curse meter but I hadn't even noticed if they we're using them. so That Could Be a big part of it I think I just don't know what I should be doing. Its seems like chasing him is useless it's allows him to maneuver and counter. But when I zone I think he gets to play his game to easily After going to his training mode I see that he has a kinda sweet spot where the spiders can't hit you. But then I saw the ground spikes hit in places the spiders cant. So then I noticed that you can tell which one he does by his animation. His 2c was weird for Me. Its not safe on block but sometimes I could punish or I would get hit by 5a mash... thinking maybe frame advantage, disadvantage changes depending on the range. I always blocked his floating bug high but I didnt know it was high. Now I see why when I'm cornered they use 6d the wait and when I stand high they 2c . Kinda like a fake unblockable I guess. I feel like me actually sitting down and thinking about this helped but I think incorporating this knowledge into a match is going to be difficult. So I guess what I'm asking is What is my goal? Its seems like a knock down means nothing to him since he can teleport or counter assault. They refuse to block Tbh.

Do we have fram data for Mu-12 cf?

This is really good footage. Mu looks really good. and your right Lava has te best grasp on her. He drops combos a lot but he still wins. I don't remember him playing mu-12 that well in cpex though?!. Also in over drive and I did not see normal steins I'm sure they are all charged in OD. If someone thinks other give me a link pls. Did anyone see those 5c , 6c charged Stein hit, ikatuchi confirm. They we're nice af

Man I don't know if y'all actually use mu-12 in cpex but charged steins are a lot more useful in match ups / against players where the oponent is playing super safe ( double jump barrier etc.) I think I'm going to start using them more than regular.

From what I've seen her combos do huge damage in the corner. Wish I could GIF that 4k off 2b meterless. Though we loss strong reward off Counter hit 5c it's yeilds the new reward of creating large amount of space with 5c 6c. Letting you set up a charged Stein to aid you in neutral. Im not sure but from what I seen. Mu mostly dominates in the corner but the but the players I seen weren't neccisarily mixing the opponent up. Its like the Japanese players refused to block and kept getting hit. Aside from that week one has just ended so better routes are still to come. Charged steins are God? Paying attention to Stein placement in neutral will be important I think. But I was thinking aside from drones being a straight out projectile; it can be used to cover several options ↘top left↙top right ⬅low right. ( go place in training mode if too difficult to visualize.) Imagining mu-12 on the left this would cover any ground approaches your opponent would make so you then would only have to worry about their aerial approach and how to counter. In a way It works out better that drones don't track the oponent because the opponent can't simply Dodge or airdash over them. Because they will shoot it different directions. As long as the move keeps it's non existent recovery it will be great.

So maybe your right. Im sure they are projectile property. Im glad to see this. Also in OD are all steins charged steins? Off topic but anyone got advice on how to deal with Noel 5c with Mu-12. I guess the move has a lot of active frames and it hits Mu's extended hurtbox on 5c? But yeah. I also will say that I don't approach the MU very well. I try to poke but I think zoning is best choice and wait for them to whiff a drive.

4k off a 2b? Damn mu looks good.. not only that but it sets 2 steins for set play? That is Eta/Heta? BTW so if you see that color you know it's him.

Woah.. nice catch. I didn't even notice that. I wonder if it was a glitch or something?.

Yeah I seen. Orange did so well against kokonoe but he seemed lost at neutral against kagura. But this was day so no worries. Plus him and other guy seem new to the character. As far as I know the current Noticeable Mu-12 are. Eta H.H. Orange I haven't seen any of hh. Eta looks like he knows how to play but not sure how to use new 214 Really hoping to see Seriwaza he's my favorite.

From what I have seen mu looks really strong. At first look people would cringe at the no wallbounce on 6c but it looked like it was working fine. Whoever the player was, was using 5c 6c charged Stein iad jc for OKi. And maybe I'm just unfamiliar but jc and charged steins seemed like the had incredible amount of untech time on counter hit. Im thinking maybe charged steins are level 3 but I think it still level 2 because o ones mentioned it. Also I know in cpex whenever I had the chance to end the corner combo with SoD I did so I had more time to setup into 4d 5d iad jb etc. But since no smp we can probably end all corner combos with it. Also 5b is a real button now since it's powerful starter and doesn't need crouch confirm for full combo. New 6b is so nice. 2c jump cancelableis nice for less obvious iad tactics. Drones look nice. Awesome neutral tool. Call outs. Pressure resets. Cant believe no ones in Socal plays her. Disgusts me. My final thoughts is that neutral has gotten be risk/ reward. Setplay will get developed. Drones will help in previous difficult MU's in ex ( Bang, Izayoi,Hazama?)ex Sorry for long post

Well I know I'm assuming if your using 6a in the corner you should be auto piloting 6b right afterwards. So if I we're you I would use. 6a 6b 5c Sod 2b 5c 2c 5d jc dj2c origins 66a 7jb jc j2c [oki: j2d 2b/ totsuka ( if steins set already )/ J2d Fireball ] your OKi I should be based on the character and or their meter. Im not at home right now but I'll check and make sure the combo I gave is right. Also I'll check the grab near corner combo as well I can't think of it off the top of my head. Should be similar to this Check out @KonansGotHeart's Tweet: https://twitter.com/KonansGotHeart/status/659894510705623041?s=09

Uhmm can anyone get me some insight on Litchi vs Mu 12. I have realized I struggle with this Matchup but now I'm going to focus on learning the matchup. I Ussuallt have specific tactics to deal with specific characters or play styles but in this Matchup I just feel like it's just a bad matchup. It almost reminds me of the bang matchup. And when I ask this question I mean specificsfor example I don't think I can win neutral if I don't play passive against her but even then she gets in or stay a away I never feel that I have an advantage. Also when I get a knock down and try to keep momentum it's difficult because she has that gaurdpoint, dp, good back dash and even if I get a blockstring started as soon as I set a Stein during pressure she sends the stick flying and it let's her get out. HELP!

Well it looks like we are back to our rightful neutral controlling place. Unless the devs they think it's too good. I honestly see a nerf to this in the near future. I will say I wonder if the 6b bounce works on standing opponents. I couldn't tell if it was crouching only/ or if the oponent was trying to jump out. If it's on anyhit does this mean we have a launcher for full combos now so we don't have to 3c RC.
