My connections have been consistently decent, very playable still. But how are people even playing ranked? I search for days and maybe 1 guy pops up on ranked if I'm lucky and then I can't even connect to them. I swear I feel like no one is even bothering with ranked mode.

A few have stated going to Display and switching from "Visuals" to "Processing" makes a big difference in online performance. Also, use JP voices as apparently English is bugged still? I'll test this out tonight, but I still think the online as it is currently is fine. Your mileage may vary.

4f is hardly unplayable. If it's fluctuating between 2-4 like it did for me, it's about as good as netcode gets. If it's fluctuating between 4-7 then, yeah that's a laggy match but that wasn't what I was mainly getting.

Played it last night on PS4 as it released early here in the states. Online felt really good to me and on par with some of the better fighting games I've played online. 2f-4f on average lag, which felt comparable to SF4 on average. Some matches got to 6f which is when I could notice pressing a button and waiting for it to come out. It's not stunningly good netcode like Smash 4, or Soul Calibur 5, but it's average or above average and certainly playable and enjoyable.
