  1. Yes, you'll see some every so often on the PS3 version. Mostly just trophy boosters and low level players (like myself) having casual matches.
  2. Post here to organize casuals and tournaments for Calamity Trigger and Continuum Shift Extend, or to request matches. Don't forget to post the platform you're playing on. I'll probably join in to get some much needed practice. I'm getting tired of playing the CPU all the time. I'm still at the elementary level, so it's easy wins for the one I'm up against. I only have the PS3 version of both though.
  3. It was pretty much set up to fail.
  4. "Good Player List" and "Bad Player List"? Any benefits to putting players on either one? Sorry. I wasn't paying attention there.
  5. It's really faint and you need a bright light to see it, but it's definitely there. You may have to tilt it around and find the right viewing angle. One line is just above the black PS3 part, in-line with the Blu-Ray logo. The other is just below that, in the black area with the PS3 logo. One line looks something like: DOWN The other line looks like it has: *something* EASO *something* My speculation is that it's a manufacturer's watermark of some sort.
  6. How much English is in this game? Are the menus easy enough to navigate?
  7. I like what Dora said here. I see it as one of the main differences between East and West when it comes to fighting games. That's another discussion though, so I'll leave it at that for now. A wise observation there, Myoro. I think that's something every serious player should ask him/her-self at some point. I'd weigh in on this more, but that, too, is another discussion. In any case, I'm relieved that the once bottom tier characters, Bullet and Makoto, have received a tier boost by two notable Japanese players. I tend to gravitate toward mid to low tier characters anyway. The interview has me hyped for Extend's release in NA. Now I don't know which character(s) I want to play with. I was quite surprised by Dora's comment on how he sees Arakune as a big threat to Bang.
  8. Well, I can't say it's an issue of perspective or execution. I put the two side-by-side and measured the distance needed to get a diagonal registered. The Ebten/Sanwa stick didn't need to be pushed as far to get the diagonal compared to the TE2 (which has to rest on the gate to register on mine). I'm currently looking into locating the screw holes on this thing so I can open it up. I was also told to try swapping the JLF's pcb between the two and see if there are any changes. It could also be a difference in mounting height as well. In any case, I need to buy some new tools and do some actual comparisons. If I find anything, I'll take and share photos. BTW, what's an Exar?
  9. I saw this while browsing and thought people here would be interested, especially if they missed the PS4 LE editions. It's all imports, but I still though you guys should be aware of it. http://www.nin-nin-game.com/en/search?orderby=position&orderway=desc&search_query=XRD&submit_search=Search FYI, the Madcatz GGXrd TE2 there is still sold out.
  10. It looks like the stick is back in stock. http://www.nin-nin-game.com/en/japanese-import-playstation-3-accessories/13015-guilty-gear-xrd-sign-arcade-stick-ebten-limited-ps3-ps4-en.html
  11. Did anyone else get this stick? Has anyone opened it up and looked inside at the parts? What I really wanted to know was what they thought of it compared to the Madcatz TE2. Supposed to be the same lever and buttons, but I noticed something about the lever in particular--the control seems to be much more responsive on this stick compared to the TE2, especially when it comes to motions and diagonals. I really want to find out why that is. My execution was crap on the TE2 but it becomes decent merely by switching sticks. I don't need to ride the gate to do motions and I can IAD 3/4 of the time now just from that little change. I tested it with three games: GGXrd, SFIII:3SO, and AH3LM with the same results across all three. Maybe my TE2 needs a new JLF or something? Unless I know why there's a difference, I won't know what to fix.
  12. Oh, I already knew about the PS3 game. I meant the recent version of the game. I still plan on importing the older version of the game when I get the chance.
  13. Wish I could play this game; it looks fun. It's Japanese arcades only, right?
  14. You could also watch Airdash Academy on Youtube, which isn't a bad starting point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWfk3tOJjaQ
  15. I got the ebten GGXrd stick from them. Had difficulty paying until I switched to PayPal. Nice customer service. I have no complaints about them and I would order from them again. Other than shipping, I like the prices.
  16. I think my jaw just hit the floor. Day 1 buy for me! Now, if I could just get the following PS3 games released over here, that would just make my day: -Phantom Breaker: Extra -Nurarihyon no Mago: Hyakki Ryouran Taisen -Shin Koihime Musou: Otome Taisen * Sangokushi Engi along with a console release of Daemon Bride: Additional Gain, MBAACC, and the latest Koihime Musou fighting game are the others on my wish list. If DBFC can be localized, who knows what we may get?
  17. Any new info on BAFS out yet?
