Not an expert but Axl is my main offline sparing partner so i know few bits and bobs about the matchup Sparrow Stance -> Well it's crap and depends from how quickly you will realise that he will go to stance if you can read stance it's fairly simple FDC High Jump Shield takes you to mid screen game usually and you can avoid next stance works miracles for me and risk isn't that high If you wont read it early and Axl stands already in it we are very limited 6P is to risky JB with 2P punish would be ok but it can be avoided by Axl by just going High from stance quickly so honestly for me being patient doing as much JB's as i can and blocking with shield/blitzing it is the most reliable way. Problem starts when Axl isn't willing to shoot all of the hits and starts mixing it with cancelling Sparrow and going back to it that drives me crazy. Remember that you will get 50% of used Tension back if you catch anything with it and you will regain next 25% by moving forward to get that bastard ;f 2H,6H on block forward dash works for me but i played hundreds fights against good Axl so im just used to it and JB him allot If i will find some time as im playing on PS4 i will try to upload some of our replays you might or might not find it helpful Fogelstrom we need to play again should be winning more now since i finally spent few hours in practice to put j2K loops in place to not waste damage :D

  5. Fogelstrom quick question is there any trick on doing j2K loops online? Offline no problems Online i miss jP,jK or jK section all the f**** time that starts to drive me insane
  6. fogelstrom fancy playing some matches as i can see you online frequently and our connection was good as far as i remember? MasterXDrake if they are stopping your DS at the startup your doing it wrong. You must be sure that you start it when you got frame advantage or when they expect for your combo to continue. Like fogelstrom said if they mash buttons start mixing it up a little with BDC, few 5K, c.S,f.S etc. I know that Slayer looks like one of most predictible characters in the game but he really isn't. Note: If game reminds #R Give us BiteLoop Back!!! And frame advantage from It's Late ><
  7. Loli-Zero thx for hints. Jap players do c.S,S,c.S,S,DOT Combo all the time thats the reason i'v been thinking why no one throws them o_O After watching more Slayer vs Axl videos i can see that even them, are struggling with his stance so it just might be genuinely bad matchup for Slayer
  8. Hi As there's no topics in Matchups section of the forum i guess i will drop Q Bombs here im having few problems with Axl matchup. Any idea what to do against Axl Stance? As Dash and iAD with Shield will just reset me back to the end of stage and Just Block with P to get him out of his stance Works only if he will go for low form it ( im talking about max distance as from mid range its not an issue at all ) Another thing is general matchup question after watching quite few JP Slayers im wondering how is it possible for them to use Close S so freely and Dandy Step the way that it's being respected? Close S Can be thrown when i do it most of times and JP players are basing most of their pressure on it same for any Dandy Step its usually getting punished by randomly mashed 2P or some other quick shit. So yeah any advice would be appreciated as they don't respect my Dandy Step :sadface:
