  1. Don't feel bad, everyone hates Nico video. This should help http://www.meltybread.com/forums/index.php?topic=648.0
  2. Going to buy AH2. Although I'm not very good at AH1. I do enjoy watching matches though.
  3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zYGiLcp8PM New combo vid I put together for dust combos
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zYGiLcp8PM New little combo vid I put together for dust combos.
  5. VCL+66, If it connects you get a knockdown, if it's blocked you get the crossup. you can't get the cross up combo unless you score a counterhit and FRC the VCL. LOL I've seen high level AC matches were FFVCL has been spammed in the corner until it won the round. But you're right, it is unsafe.
  6. in air to ground gattlings it's best to do the air moves during the fall from her hoverdash. so just delay you're js jk a bit after you release forward from the hoverdash. It's not so much height but if she's in a hoverdash state or a landing state. Her oki game without notes is pretty much: meaty 5K - fairly safe but will almost always be blocked. you can gattling it into a 6p 5h super jump instant reverse airdash into a note, 6p 5h TKDIVE, or 2S/2D/HCL knockdown. meaty VCL - can score an additional knockdown but not really reliable. if it's blocked you're eating a throw at the least. 6666 fastfall VCL - can score you an additional knockdown and because of the fastfall puts you in a little bit safer position VCL+66 (midscreen only) - awesome to use for oki because it puts you right behind your opponent for an on the ground cross up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zRxruGr8-o <---see the 2nd match, koichi uses it to open against may. 6p - see meaty 5k 2p cs HCL - another way to score a quick knockdown, works well if your opponent goes for wakeup throws alot. 2p cs VCL - same as above but can be combo'd from. try not to spend too much tension on the combo though because opening with 2p totally screws your damage. If you're judging from that video it might seem a little predictable but I-No has countless options and if you decide to use all lows (which you don't have to at all, her high to low mixup game is insanely nice) and they block that then come back with some highs mixed in. when you used lows before. say they block a jk js 2k 2s 2d HCL. next time you get them in a note lockdown come in with a js jk 2k 6p cs hcl frc sdive. That vid only covers tension free stuff. One of I-No's most useful tools is being able to cancel her stroke the big tree move into a throw. If you dash in for a mixup and it is all blocked then end it a with STBT cancelled into a throw. Doing so gives you an even higher damage throw (which can also be FRC'd into a combo) because your mixup being blocked builds your opponents guard bar. If you manage to work a 2H into your mixup you can score a nice little chunch of damage. 1 last thing. LM Akira and Raza are both UK players that used to play I-No, I don't know if your location permits you to be able to meet up with them but they could probably show you alot of stuff.
  7. Bah, PA raised the price. I should have ordered it the other day when I was debating about it. Now it's 20$ more. On episode 12 of the anime. Really loving this show.
  8. This is coming soon. http://sdtekken.com/tech-area/arcade-sticks/hori-street-fighter-iv-arcade-stick-ps3-2/
  9. Okay so I just watched the first 4 episodes of Fate Stay/Night and I have to say I'm impressed. I kind of thought this anime would be something like Shakugan no Shana mixed with Tsukihime Lunar Legand. While it is true that I enjoy both of those shows I'm glad that I was off the mark and this is something different. I'm not quite sure what it is but it's hard to stop watching. So far I really like Rin.
  10. I'm with Feri. I-No on stick is a pain in the ass.
  11. backstep for the win!
  12. So is the anime worth watching? I saw adds for it on some of my dvds and it looked cool but the charachter design kind of pushed me away.
  13. I really want to order the SP Box http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-a120-71-40-84-j-70-2wom.html But fuck, I really should do that christmas shopping for others thing. Too bad play-asia didn't have some sort of online black friday sale. lol That figure looks really cool. Almost makes me think I should watch the Fate/Stay Night anime.
  14. I really hope an arcade close to me gets this. Importing a wii for one games expensive and stupid. The vids look so nice though.
  15. after watching the gamechariot match vids, i'm starting to look forward to this.
  16. Not adding any useful tips. I just want to say I absolutely love this match. It's deffiniatly in my top 3 match ups. Maybe 1 Potemkin 2 Eddie 3 Testement 4 I-No Mirror
  17. I'm not sure about that specific example but you can adjust it (do it later) for it to catch forward and reverse recovery. Are you using a macro for your 5K HCL Sine?
  18. In no situation will a TK 5K HCL combo. It has to be jump installed. However, TKing it does have it's uses. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9E0mzteN5fs
  19. http://forums.shoryuken.com/index.php and i took your post wrong, i thought you wanted to buy a HRAP2 and mod it.
  20. You really should buy a cheap stick first. I bought a stick to play I-No on stick because everyone said it was easier (really it's not) and literally broke it again and again and again trying to figure out how to do 360's on the square gate. (most japanese sticks have) My point being, you should learn how to play I-No on stick before you spend on my on a stick to play I-No on. Otherwise you'll be wasting your money, and a good stick while you're at it.
  21. HolyBadSanta, that stick is nice!!! Ashton, the Chun stick is very classy too. Anyone else see this? http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-a120-71-113-49-en-84-j-70-33u5.html Looks like it could benefit the whole 5 people that play GG on WII. lol Gosh I wish TvC wasn't WII exclusive.
  22. Yea, I wouldn't recomend it off a mixup knockdown either. JH is the hardest to land off a 6644 too. You'll have better luck going into a js sdive, straight sdive, jk 2k, or jk uf. If you must use JH, then do it while there all the way in the corner. Although honestly I prefer to just bait an attack and land into STBT. As far as the setup, it's just like whytesakura said. There isn't a specific one, but you'll eventually recognize the situations it'll work in.
  23. That wasn't at all what I meant. I was specifically speaking about her High/Low mixup game. Since you mentioned it though. I don't know what you mean by you don't see STBT FRC cancelled into mixups. I see it all the time. Especially cancelled into JK. Infact, (from a distance) low H note > short hover dash > STBT H 6FRC6 > jk is a pretty successful way to start a mixup. Atleast, it's one of my favorites.
  24. No you can't. Once you learn the HCL dash, the true difficulty of I-No arises. Things like Throw FRC P-Dive, or you know her assloads of charachter specific bullshit. You can do things like JH, CS, 6P, 5H, HCL, FRC, 66, JS, VCL, 5H JH, PDIVE on Sol, Potemkin, Robo-Ky, & Johnny but guess what? It's different timing for each of them. Let's not even get into her mixup game.
  25. Everyone puts stress on learning 5K HCL. Mostly cause your midscreen combos will lack without it. However I think learning HCL from c.S and a low are just as important. c.S HCL will extend your corner combos in situations where even a proper 5K HCL won't. As for a low, I think 2D is the best because it can follow 2H where 2S can't. 2H has insane crank on your opponents guard bar, however it can be blocked both high and low. 2D hits low and because it'll follow a 2H it's capable of breaking your opponents guard and delivering some very high damage combos. Look at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zRxruGr8-o The reason Koichi pretty much kills that Testement in 1 combo is because of the blocked 2H.
