Fate doesn't feel 3d at all. it's hard to compare. and it is long (difficult) combos. It's one of those games that is kind of boring to watch but awesome to play.

as far as import games Melty Blood Actress Again and Fate Unlimited Codes are the must have fighters. (that you can't get stateside) Last Blade 2-in-1 Collection & Sengoku Basara X are also great. (Basara X is my favorite of the mentioned titles) Shooting games, I believe DOJ is the only worth while one still in print. http://www.play-asia.com/SOap-23-83-a120-71-99-15-dodonpachi-84-p-18-2.html Mushihimesama, Espgaluda, Ibara, and Psyvariar 2 are all worth tracking down though. learn to input your lows from 8 ie cs 8632+S14(789)6+K. or learn the JI timing when you land. the easiest way to do this is to hover dash and then immediatly go into a 2s 5h super-jump cancel, double jump. if you get the double jump, then you're timing right. if you can't get the double jump after the super jump then your timing is off.

depends at what time and the saturday. i usually work saturdays but every once in a great while they give me one off or i get out early enough that the night isn't lost. it's usually the 6pm to 2am shift though.

5k HCL 6frc6 and 5h jh are also very good to know. ( at about 10 seconds in, I show you exactly why in this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3FJnnIyk-4 ) not a combo, but learning at least one combo from the throw frc is highly useful. the thing about i-no is you don't learn her combos, you learn what your options are and string together little sections of what works.
