Happy to see 'gief. I don't think the problem is the presence of SF2 characters, but that the Alpha and new characters look uninspiring, with the possible exception of Charlie. A lot of people are creaming themselves on SRK about Laura, but she looks so bland and generic to me. Looks like she got Chun's ugly giant feet and hands.

I'm a HUGE street fighter fan but the aesthetics of this game don't do anything for me, especially when you compare it to Xrd. Since Vega I've been pretty underwhelmed with the characters too. Not a fan of Mika, Karin or the new characters. Hoping the last four reveals will peak my interest.

I'll stick with Potemkin, but I'm interested in learning Jack-O. Would be very interested in Raven if he became playable.

I see the Hori RAP4 Premium VLX Kuro come in at +14.80 ms. Is that terrible? Was considering purchasing one, but at that price I don't want to regret it...

Seen FAB Roman cancel Heat into 2 Trishulas and then an ICPM. He didn't go into Heat Extend from what I remember.

What would you do to Potemkin? He's a character that could become crazy good if buffed wrongly, imo.

I doubt they'll redo the VA, but I do hope the English version improves. Potemkin was particularly disappointing.

For all the problems with the accuracy of the displayed connection, that's actually a really good idea (I mean the frame rate displayed during the game). Hopefully all fighting games follow this route.

Any tips on (my) wakeup? I got totally destroyed by a Chipp and a Millia tonight. Once they knock me down, all I can do is block, block, block and then press a button (usually HF, 5P, 5K) to TRY get out but that leads me to being counter hit and then blown up. I played Abel in SFIV fwiw, and he had the same issues but the speed was so much slower!

I thought 5P was supposed to hit crouches now? (Sorry, I've been away for a month so out of the loop....). Some issues I've found: Pot Buster is 139, not 150 as stated. 6P doesn't hit crouches (was this always the case?) Everything else appears accurate though.
