  1. this venom it's very good, the only two weak points i found are. First he it's really good on zoning but this offense based a lot on 5d and chipp damage, so if you practice block that 5d in the situations of the video (training mode recording> random replay) you can punish him 5d (-9 on block). Second his defense it's bad, he want to keep you out so when potemkin close the gap he react very predictable like spend meter doing flawless defense always and dead angles regardless the attack he block, use the burst, etc. remember you can use j.s or 2p to bait and block the dead angles, also you can take a risk and do empty jump and potemkin buster (he it's blocking after all). vs his burst use bust bait like hammer fall>RC>block (bust bait)>combo, etc and bait the gold burst jumping forward and block in offense (if you block it in air it's a free potemkin buster) finally the only 2 tendencies i found it's he use the 6hs>summon a lot, so you can read it and hammer>YRC>potemkin buster. and he start the round doing the 2s or instant air dash back, the first you can try megafist forward, and the second you can smash f.s, i think 2p trade vs venom's 2s, i need test it.
  2. come on guys, we are getting so paranoid, we need develop the os for us characters, use it and only after it shows broken or overpower we can allows us a patch. i test and potemkin can use the os to FDB vs fast fireballs, maybe that change some of his horrible match ups.
  3. i test today and maybe the best use for pot it's to FDB fast projectiles (like i-no chemical love, some venom balls and some ky, sol projectile pressure), so if they do the move the FDB comes out other wise you are safe, discuss.
  4. i think the new OS can be useful in situation where the opponent it's negative(-1, -2 or +0) so if they mash a poke or move you get the potemkin buster but if they jump away or back dash you keep safe. maybe it's useful in defense to, i don't know if you can use it to avoid get command grabbed (eddie, elphelt maybe). anyway now we can wake up Gigantor and don't waste the meter if they do nothing.
  5. i have troubles vs sin super, looks like if he can make you block a elf hunt or beak driver when he has 50% of tension, it's a free meal? what it's a good way to deal with this, outside of avoid the beak driver (very difficult).

  7. what are the option potemkin have to deal with backdashes? i read people do 2k (os) but work on everyone?. thanks in advance
  8. i agree with people here, potemkin vs potemkin it's all about footsies with 5s and 5hs, some tricks i found. a meaty dust beat potemkin wake up gigantor in anticipation, potemkin buster beat it on reaction, the 5p work well like a anti air in close distance some times. one trick it's use the 5hs>slide head or 5hs>megafist>yrc to bait jump/back dash and punish, be careful because the slide head can be punish with a hammerfall yrc>potemkin buster. heavenly work very well like a anti air in this match up (potemkin jump it's to slow) on full screen you can bait the heavenly doing ICPM>YRC>j.d
  9. i think make the 6k do more damage and the hammer fall charge faster, help us a lot for getting 6k loops and stuff in matches, make the char accessible to play in mid level (not FAB level, i don't see anyone outside of konsomne and fab land 6k raw loops in real matches).

  12. it test and you can do a meaty trishura>RC on wake ups after a ICPM or a j.d. what you guys thinks about it? to me looks decent, in one hand trishura beat a lot of dps (i test vs sol, ky and chipp dps) and in other the flame hide Potemkin's actions and let you do something like 5d ,5k, 2p>potemkin buster etc.
